The Tamarindo Estuary Tour was a wonderful and relaxing experience and a great way to see a different side of Costa Rica. Gliding through the estuary was peaceful and scenic, with plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife along the way. We only saw birds and howler monkeys, but the scenery was still amazing.
Our guide was knowledgeable and did a great job pointing out wildlife and sharing information about the ecosystem, which made the tour both interesting and educational. It was an easy, enjoyable outing that didn’t feel rushed and was suitable for all ages.
If you’re looking for a laid-back excursion that still offers great nature and wildlife viewing, this tour is definitely worth doing while in Tamarindo.★

This was a total blast, start to end! I gotta give the biggest applause to Santos, our guide. I mean, each part of the day was incredible, but Santos made it all come to life! He taught us so much about the local flora and fauna during the hike, and answered all my questions like the pro he is (i am a nature nerd and had a million questions), he engaged with everyone in the group, and maybe he's a pro photographer because he took all the pics we wanted for us. I am traveling solo so it was awesome to document the experience. The volcano hike is a nature lover's dream! It's almost surreal, seeing the mud pools, animals, gorgeous trees and volcano. The waterfalls were stunning - what a wonder of nature! We got to swim around and get up close and personal with the rushing water. And the hot springs + clay treatment were a gorgeous and luxurious treat to wrap up the day. I couldn't have asked for more. This was my first full day in Costa Rica and it set the bar REALLY high. Thank you so much to Santos for his exceptional care and dedication to all of our experience! ☺️♥️👏★

Great day excursion! Started at 12:30 and made one stop on the beach for an hour and sailed back right at sunset! The crew were all fun and nice!

Only downside was the bathrooms were gross★

Awesome day, so sad that the day flew by! Smooth and seamless transfer by David in the morning to the Nicaraguan border, where we were expertly picked up by Elmer and Wilbur. Took us around the locations; Elmer answered all questions and showed us his beautiful country. He also took care of all the logistics to ensure all went according to plan. The food was amazing, as was the volcano and the history/geography facts that Elmer provided. Elmer is very knowledgeable and understanding. On the return to Costa Rica, Jerson picked us up; he was equally as accommodating, letting us stop for dinner and gave me an awesome chance to practice my Spanish! He was incredibly personable and I learned a lot about his family and dog! We had a very good long conversation from the border all the way back to the hotel; the hours flew by! Really grateful for all the guides and drivers, can't wait to come back to Costa Rica and Nicaragua. Pura vida y Deacachimba!
