This excursion exceeded our expectations. The most important thing was a good guide. Our guide, Dong, impressed us as a true professional. He speaks good, understandable English, which is rare in Vietnam. He kept an eye on us all, explained everything in detail, and ensured our safety. The organizers explained in advance what to bring and when and where we would be picked up. Everyone was picked up directly from their hotels and driven in a comfortable minibus for 15 people. The excursion itself was well-planned, with no unnecessary delays; everything was very dynamic and interesting. Every second was spent productively. We were fed deliciously, and given water and coconuts along the way. At the end of the trip, we were returned to our hotels right on schedule.

Overall, it was quite fun and worthwhile; the 69 yuan day trip was incredibly cost-effective. My sister accidentally dropped her phone into the river while on the small boat, and the tour guide (in the second picture) was exceptionally kind, going to great lengths to help and find someone to retrieve it. Back in the city, he even took us to a phone repair shop, acted as our translator, and communicated with the shopkeeper, taking up a lot of his time. We didn't even have a chance to treat him to a meal to formally express our gratitude. Because of this tour guide, I have a very good impression of Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City.
