Tour was with UshbaTravel..prices were good but mainly choose them as they offered a choice of pick up at the main office or in Freedom Square. This was round the corner from my hotel and very convenient. Roman our guide made the trip more enjoyable with his personality and attitude..nothing was too much trouble. Timings at the stops was just right and restaurant nice for lunch.
The stop at the Friendship monument had great view of Gudauri which I hadn't realised.
The minibus transfer upto Kazbegi Monastery allows you 30 minutes at the top. If you want the famous view with the mountains then it's best to walk back from where the bus stops..head towards another small parking lot which you drive past. It's not that far and can still walk up to the monastery after but need to be aware of the 30 minute deadline! Read a company that said not suitable for over 70..I am ..just..found it fine. The journey up isn't long and although windy road it's not bumpy.
A great day and would be more than happy to have Roman as tour guide on other trips★

Kazbegi is beautiful, our guide Ilia was friendly and felt like a friend the whole trip. There was some rain by the end of the trip but it made Stepansamida even more mystical in my opinion. Well organized and took in consideration our needs (stops, food, coffe).★

Had an amazing experience by visiting some of the beautiful spots just away from Tbilisi.
Our guide Tanu was young, enthusiastic & energetic. She gave a wonderful tour experience, even though it was a short trip Tanu made sure to cover as much as possible. Also she was helping and suggesting to buy souvenirs to those who were interested.
Visiting Chronicles of Georgia was a great move to avoid crowd during Sunday. Weather was absolutely great and location with one of best panoramic view of Tbilisi.☺️
I would definitely recommend to go ahead and book to get similar experience. 👍🏻★
