Walking into this forest of stone pillars is a silent shock. The monument up to 30 meters stands on the top of the hill, looking like a fortress from a distance, and looking like a temple from a distance.
The relief lines are deep and sharp, and the history of faith, suffering and kingship is not engraved. The birth of Jesus, the mission of the Holy Virgin, the reign of David, the rise and fall of the dynasty... The millennium of Georgia is concentrated in the bronze and green mottled.★

Gio my guide for the day was extremely knowledgable, he arranged the tour perfectly around the heat of the day.
The scenic route he took was beautiful.
Great tour of some of the oldest and most poignant places not far from the city. Great bit of history.
The cave town is a great stop but is a bit of a hike to see all of it so have this in mind.
Don’t forget dress codes for the church’s be respectful no shorts, no vest tops and a head covering for ladies i have carried a t shirt and scarf with me so i could just don when required.★

I thank George for our guide and driver Dimitri. George was a very good guide he explained us everything in detail and funny he was also. Dimitri the driver is super driven and safe on the way. The nature of the mountains were indescriptably beautiful. We tested wine and honey on the way. Super tour which took 12 hours I would recommend this tour everybody. Who is going to make a holiday in Georgia please book this tour it was unique. Thanks to all ten stars★
