The tour guide's arrangements for lunch on the first day were terrible. There were three tables in total; the other two tables had been eating for ages, but our table hadn't even had our food yet. We waited for about an hour, and the tour guide was nowhere to be found, completely ignoring us. Later, when we spoke to her, she said she hadn't eaten either – a terrible way to handle the situation. The Super 8 Hotel near the Big Wild Goose Pagoda was quite nice, I was very satisfied. On the return trip, there was a traffic jam on the highway, and we didn't get back to the hotel until 11:30 pm. The tour guide wasted too much time; we all got on the bus and waited for her for half an hour. Ugh!★

The activity was truly wonderful. You arrive and choose your design: a selection is already available, or you can choose to draw it by hand. Then, you use a wax pen to trace over your drawing. Next comes the coloring stage. This can take more or less time, depending on the level of detail you add. We were welcomed into the hosts' home, which made the experience intimate and family-like. We highly recommend this activity!Trip.com picks
