My husband and I had an amazing experience today with our guide Eddi and driver Kiki. They shared so much with us about their culture, religion, families, and lifestyle. We are so grateful for their kindness and passion for sharing their culture. I am beyond happy we signed up for this walking tour! Definitely wear water friendly non-slip shoes. We were very comfortable in light t-shirts, athletic shorts, and Tevas. If you come in the dry season, you will get to walk to a waterfall that is only accessible by walking through water (up to your calves). We felt like Indiana Jones! Be prepared for uphill walking and stairs. Today we saw the local coffee making and coconut oil making processes and got to participate! We got to try their tea, coffee, and fresh coconut. You will walk through many gorgeous rice fields. Our guide, Eddi, was so knowledgeable on all the plants in his village. He taught us about every tree, fruit, and rice. We walked to a few waterfalls then had a delicious lunch in the village. The tour ended with monkey forest and we were lucky enough to see about 7 swinging in the trees. Such an unforgettable day!

We had a fantastic tour by Warong Monkey Forest. Ron gave us a warm welcome and even spoke excellent Dutch, which we were delighted to hear! Astro (his brother) gave us the tour and passionately shared all sorts of interesting facts and showed us some truly beautiful things. He knew every corner of the forest and shared facts about vanilla, spiders, and the monkeys. We had a wonderful day! A guide is definitely recommended, as we wouldn't have been able to discover these places without him. Lunch is included at the Monkey Forest restaurant itself and was the tastiest nasi goreng we've had in Indonesia so far. Highly recommended.

Throughout the trip, our guide took us to numerous scenic spots and pristine waterfalls. Although the hike took about half an hour to an hour, the guide provided very positive feedback. Our guide, Asen, was Chinese and spoke Chinese, making communication very easy. 👍 This tour was only around NT$300 per day, but they drove us to various locations, and no extra tips were required. The entire trip was very enjoyable. We saw a large waterfall, and they even took photos with us. The guide was very responsible and I would definitely choose them again.
