Great trip! Extremely comfortable and clean bus, the guide was great, full of information, kind and ready to help. Although 3.5 hours of driving each way sounded like a lot, thanks to the comfortable bus I didn't even feel it. Meteora is beautiful and we enjoyed it even though it was foggy. Highly recommend this trip, you won't go wrong.

Coach was on time, comfortable and had WiFi. Tour guide Helen was lovely, informative and helpful. She was a superstar as I think a lot of her interesting information was missed by many who were chatting. Location was amazing, perfectly timed. The only criticism I’d have was the lunch was a bit expensive, there appeared to be loads of choice as we drove to the secluded spot, and a coach that size could at least negotiate a discount, or free water/bread. Water is 7 euros & bread 3 euros a slice. We had a great day but this was down to Helen be lovely.

The excursion went very well on November 17, 2025, in a minibus. Our driver-guide was very friendly and enjoyed sharing information with the participants from various countries. The duration of the excursion was just right for visiting all the sites in Vergina and Pella on the itinerary. If possible, a detour to the ruins of the Royal Palace of Vergina would be a great addition. The Macedonian tombs of Vergina? A feast for the eyes! The museums of Pella and Vergina? Very well worth seeing. Wonderful memories of this excursion. A must-do (and repeat) if you are in Thessaloniki.

Started with view of the Majestic Mt. Olympus along the highway. The short hike/walk to Agia Kori waterfall was so refreshing. Then we headed to the city of Dion (Religious capital of Greece) which took us back ages in time. Very informative. After that, we stopped at the Mt. Olympus Exhibition center which gave a lot of Myhtological and Geological background and information about the Mountain of Greek Gods. In the end, we went to Litohoro for amazing Greek food, a very beautiful village of Mt Olympus. The tour guide George all along the way was giving great information about Greek mythology and history. He is very knowledgable on the history. Moreover, he has a smile on his face always which made the trip more joyful. I recommend this trip completely.


