We had a great day out and awesome experience, Pedir was great with all the organisation and correspondence through to hitting the streets of Tijuana with our guide Carlos. Carlos, our tour guide, was awesome! He was incredibly personable and made us feel safe and totally immersed from the moment we met. We didn't just see Avenida Revolución; we explored the incredible street art in Pasaje Rodríguez, ate the most authentic and mind-blowing street tacos (the birria was unforgettable!) If you want a tour that feels less like a tourist trap and more like an afternoon with a local friend, book with Border Tours immediately. Highly, highly recommend!

An excellent day trip in Tijuana with many interesting stops. Organization was great and everything went smoothly. The combination of historical overview of the Tijuana phenomenon and popular things was perfect. As it was a group of only four we had a lot of time to go after our interests and our knowledgeable guide Victor answered all of our questions and had a great sense of humor to match. As I was especially interested in food, he helped me find some special Mexican peppers at the food market and gave us a lot of information of Tijuana as a place where Caesar Salad was born, local restaurants and other food places.

Loved this tour! Shout out to Carlos for being the best host. We were a small tour of 3 who booked very last minute. We were met on the San Diego side and instructed on how to cross the border. This was easy and no trouble. The tour consisted of 3 Taco tastings, 2 tequila/ mezcal and some chocolate. Everywhere was amazing, food was great and Carlos knowledge was impeccable. Nothing was any trouble and I wouldn’t hesitate to do this tour and visit Tijuana again. We were very fortunate to get cross back to the US in 15 minutes. We did a 1pm tour and headed back around 5.30/6. Nothing was rushed!
