enjoyed the trip very much. from booking to redeem, all good. it just that i wish i knew that the Reserved Seat ticket is actually limited to 5 times only. so plan your trip well, especially when in Tottori & Shimane, the express train mostly only All Seat Reserved Seat

Redemption is easy at Kansai Airport, with designated seats available at the green window. JR Passes allow you to use sleeping trains, but you'll need to pay for express trains and beds.
