Much cheaper than the carrier. Very convenient and economical. I used it for the first time and am very pleased. 5G internet is seamless. It's a shame that regular cell phone calls aren't included in the package.

Super convenient and cheap! Viettel is definitely the way to go when traveling to Vietnam and Phu Quoc! The signal is consistently excellent and stable. Just set it up, and you can connect as soon as you get off the plane, plus the speed is fast! Compared to the other physical SIM cards my husband bought (which had terrible signal, even at full bars it was slow), my eSIM was the only one with a stable signal among the four of us 😂 I was responsible for creating a hotspot for the family. The internet speed test was very fast, reaching over 800Mbps (don't test it unnecessarily, it consumes a lot of data).

Everything's great! Simple and quick setup, perfect signal quality. No need to worry about how and where to get in touch. Just land, activate, and you're perfect. The lack of calls and text messages isn't a problem at all, unless you need to communicate within the country or register on platforms that require local registration (I haven't encountered this), because the services not only work, they fly: you can use everything you need without any hassle.

I used this in KL, Bangkok and Shanghai. Overall the signal was ok. Sometimes we do get a drop out but it’s not often. We managed to use all social media platforms with this eSIM at Shanghai. Only thing is if you want to hail a ride you’ll need a number for it in china.
