It was a beautiful and unforgettable night! The drive was smooth, and we had a wonderful guide, Mikaela (hope I got the spelling right).
Check-in at the Northern Shots Tours office was quick and easy, and we departed right on time at 7pm. The bus ride was very comfortable, with our guide — who’s also a professional photographer — giving helpful explanations along the way.
He shared what to expect during the tour, explained the itinerary clearly, and even guided us on how to adjust our phone camera settings to capture the Northern Lights. His light humour and friendly personality made the journey even more enjoyable.
Overall, it was a well-organized and memorable experience that I would highly recommend!★

This activity was booked last minute as we were on our last night in tromso. Little did we know, we were in for a great aurora show. We were greeted by Douaa and Maria who are the guides for the night. We booked for 9pm tour. As soon as we left the harbour, we were notified that there was going to be a strong aurora activity that night. 5 minutes in and there it was sprawling and dancing across the sky of tromso going stronger and stronger. It was just spectacular. I think I was in a dream!!! I came to tromso to see the aurora and it made the best show right on top of our heads that night. Douaa was also the sweetest guide, taking pictures and greeting us with the sweetest smile. We had a short conversation and I told her about how I was chasing the aurora from previous trips but failed to see it. She was just as pleased for me seeing the lights as I was and she gave me a hug too. I fully recommend this tour. It was more than I expected and paid for. Truly one to remember for life!!!★
