Booked this for a day trip to Switzerland from Italy (my coverage didn't include Switzerland in my plan). Installed it at my hotel in Milan and surprisingly it worked even there so was able to stay connected for the whole day, even during my time in Switzerland, and then back home to Milan. I traveled around Hungary, Austria, and Switzerland, and the best thing about this was that I could do everything with just this one SIM. It's cheap and offers almost unlimited data. For any trip, I recommend trip.com's 100GB per day eSIM! The signal was fine, and I was even able to use it on a mountaintop in Switzerland. I felt like the signal got worse when my phone's battery dropped below 20%, but I'm not sure if there's a causal relationship.★
