My husband and I went and had a wonderful day. We booked in advance and chose a convenient date. We skipped the line and showed our online voucher. Our ticket included a visit to the mud and herbal baths, a visit to the water park, and lunch. Thanks to Trip.com for allowing us to save time and maximize our enjoyment.

Overall, the itinerary was good. The only slight disappointment was that our group wasn't given the option to kayak; we were just given a boat tour instead. Some members of our group booked through local travel agencies at the last minute, and the platform price was 50% more expensive than booking directly locally. They felt the current price was really not worth it.

I hadn't heard of this system before, but a local friend highly recommended it, so I used it for the first time. It was well worth the price and very easy. I thought they would ask for my name, but they only showed me the company logo. I was able to connect with the person in charge via LINE, so I felt at ease. It was during Tet, but I was able to enter the country in less than 10 minutes.

I booked a VIP tour this time, and the itinerary was very packed, with five or six boat trips in total, making it a fairly in-depth tour. The Mekong River didn't look very clear; the water was quite yellow and covered with water hyacinths, but there was no unpleasant odor. The island had many plants (various fruits) and animals (pythons, crocodiles, catfish, etc.), and the guide led the tour, providing very enthusiastic explanations. At the narrow section of the river where boats were manually rowed, the guide mentioned that a tip was expected for the rowers. Before the tour ended, the guide suggested that if we were satisfied with the trip, we could also tip him; I felt I had to give him something, otherwise I'd feel awkward.


