We booked an English-speaking tour for our Vung Tau day trip. There were five of us: two Chinese tourists, two Italian tourists, and one Iranian tourist. The tour guide picked us up from our hotel early in the morning. The vehicle was fantastic, very comfortable, and despite the long journey, it wasn't tiring at all. The tour guide was a very handsome guy 🤵 with excellent English and comprehensive explanations of the sights. The lunch he arranged was also very good. The only downside was that he forgot to drop off one of the Iranian tourists at their hotel in Vung Tau at the end of the tour, so the car had to drive for quite a while before turning back. Overall, the Vung Tau trip was quite enjoyable.

Install it using a QR code before leaving the country, and then once you've landed, simply turn on the eSIM and roaming to start communicating. There's no need to worry about APNs or anything like that. You're generally connected via 5G, but in reality the connection was often slow, so I changed it to a fixed 4G connection. eSIMs are so convenient that I'll never go back to using a physical SIM.

I used this in KL, Bangkok and Shanghai. Overall the signal was ok. Sometimes we do get a drop out but it’s not often. We managed to use all social media platforms with this eSIM at Shanghai. Only thing is if you want to hail a ride you’ll need a number for it in china.
