Reviews: Yilan | Island Landing, Whale Watching & Guishan Island Cruise | Yilan Guishan Island Half-Day Tour | Free Gift with Activity

Having passed by Turtle Island countless times by train over the past twenty years, this time I finally took a boat trip to see it up close. This trip also included whale and dolphin watching. After departing from the port, the boat will complete a full circumnavigation of Turtle Island, with the entire journey at sea taking approximately 2.5 hours. The first thing to do upon boarding is to put on a life jacket; this is a strict rule on board. The route will first pass the back of Turtle Island before circling to the front, offering a panoramic view of the entire island. Unfortunately, we didn't encounter any whales or dolphins this time, but the company was very generous and gave us whale watching passes, allowing us to come back for whale and dolphin watching within a year, which somewhat made up for the disappointment.
Reviews: Jiaoxi Galax Star Hotel Lunch Buffet + 120-minute Rooftop SPA Open-air Hot Spring (No surcharge for weekend lunch. Weekday/weekend dinner +NT$300)

The selection isn't huge, but a weekday lunch ticket purchased online costs less than 700 NTD and includes meat, seafood, and Yilan specialty snacks, plus free-flowing beer and soft drinks – that's really great! Online tickets also include a two-hour hot spring bath pass. The environment is excellent, with hot and cold tubs, a steam room, and an oven, and they even provide free bottled water! Highly recommended!

After playing ball, I soaked in the bath for three hours by myself. I felt completely refreshed afterwards, and then went back to the office to sleep until dawn. The baths are categorized by temperature, with the highest temperature reaching 44 degrees Celsius and the lowest being room temperature. There are steam rooms available, so you can enjoy a sauna. Shampoo and shower gel are provided in the shower area; just bring your own towel.

The hot springs are great and very comfortable. It's definitely worth bringing your family here to relax. The hot pot is also delicious. I highly recommend coming here to soak in the hot springs and enjoy hot pot to relax.
