It's very practical, but it's a bit of a loss if the railway is operating in winter. Hokkaido has beautiful scenery, but train tickets are too expensive. Using this is more cost-effective if you're visiting multiple places. However, if there's a blizzard and the railway stops, there are no refunds.

1. At the JR Foreign Passenger Service Center in front of New Chitose Airport, there are still staff members at the entrance close to closing time. The counter staff are very polite and efficient in Chinese, helping you open a card and redeem reserved seats for the sightseeing train. 2. Very convenient to use, especially in the event of a railway accident. 3. Suitable for settling in one place and then exploring related tourist destinations.
