This was a shared tour itinerary; it was just the two of us plus one family of three.
-7:10 The driver picked us up from the hotel, and we set off to watch the sunrise.
-8:00-8:30 Spruce Meadow Cableway
-Blue Moon Valley to
-12:00-12:30 Glacier Cableway
-16:45-17:00 Return train. We were very satisfied with the itinerary. Tickets for the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Glacier Cableway are extremely difficult to get, but this tour included both cableway and train tickets. The driver was very steady; he only took us to Ganhaizi for the sunrise, then to the visitor center, and then we were on our own. The person in charge frequently checked on us via WeChat, asking if the driver had picked us up, if we had arrived at the Spruce Meadow Cableway, and reminding us of the Glacier Cableway boarding and alighting times. Very thoughtful. We missed the return train because there were too many people getting off the cable car, but it was okay; we just took a Didi (ride-hailing service) back to the hotel. Highly recommended.★

It was a good experience. The staff were friendly and constantly checked to make sure there were no issues with the schedule. Although a guide does not go inside with you, the signage is in Korean, and it is not difficult if you just follow the crowd. The scenery is excellent. The performance is decent.★

I went without any expectations, but I was completely satisfied with the performance. It was a dynamic show featuring horses galloping across a natural stage, accompanied by magnificent music. I loved it so much. However, sitting in the scorching sun for an hour without any shade... I was worried about heatstroke.★

The overall experience by the tour agency was good. There was some miscommunication at the beginning while contacting the driver to arrange transport but she was really friendly. After picking us up, they brought us to what i assume to be their contact for oxygen tank and high altitude meds but they were extremely overpriced. I recommend getting your own supply before the day itself. Because of the miscommunication, my wife initially could not go up the cable car since the details on the ticket and passport was misaligned, but the agency got us a new ticket and we thankfully did not miss the chance to go up the mountain. Overall, great service 🙂★

The route was perfectly organized! Excellent car and driver. We saw all the sights in peace and quiet, with plenty of stops at interesting places. About 10 hours from Lijiang to Shangri-La on a gorgeous mountain road. Constant support via WeChat. We highly recommend!
