Our group split into a group taking a canal cruise and those not doing one. We skipped the cruise part and had Friedrich as a guide. He did well. He lives in the central area, knows a lot but doesn’t burden you with every little detail. Nice sense of humor. Bruges is a must do in Belgium and a perfect cruise excursion. It is a fairytale UNESCO city with canals, winding streets and often many people. Lots of different architecture. Famous spires and a nice blend of buildings and gardens. The fields of daffodils were magical.

Learned a lot about the history of cocoa beans and how they came to Europe. Very exciting and educational experience. Highly recommended.
