Gustaf Adolf's Square
Gustaf Adolf's Square is located on the banks of the main canal in the center of Gothenburg and has been the city's political hub since the 17th century. In its center stands a bronze statue of the city's founder, King Gustav II Adolf of Sweden. The king points to the ground with his right hand, his gaze fixed on the distance. It is surrounded by historic buildings such as the Old Town Hall and the Stock Exchange building. The Old Town Hall is considered a classic example of early functionalist architecture, while the Stock Exchange building with its neat arcades is a mid-19th-century neoclassical work. If you look down, you can see a map of Gothenburg embedded in the ground, where you can discern the city's early layout. The Stora Hamnkanalen canal runs through the city on one side, where sightseeing boats often carry tourists under the bridges. Feskekorka
Feskekorka is located along the Rosenlund Canal in the heart of Gothenburg and was designed by city architect Victor von Gegerfelt. Its pointed arched windows, steep roof, and small spires on the gables draw inspiration from Nordic stave churches and Neo-Gothic architecture. Beneath the yellow brick exterior lies an exposed wooden framework, making it look like a church standing by the water from a distance. Since its renovation and reopening, it has been upgraded from a traditional fish market to a food hall that integrates seafood counters, restaurants, and bars. The Flåtens Fiskhandel counter is stocked with the day's catch, including cod, mackerel, halibut, as well as lobster, oysters, and fresh shrimp. The deli counter, Ebbes Fångst, specializes in fresh shrimp, smoked shrimp, crayfish, caviar, and cured/smoked salmon. A West Coast-style shrimp salad with bread is a classic local way to enjoy it. Several restaurants inside each have their own specialties, and some even offer a view overlooking the entire hall. Even if you don't eat seafood, the building itself is worth a special visit. The church-like pointed windows, wooden roof, and its reflection on the canal water are all great subjects for photos in the city center. After exploring, you might want to take a walk along the canal or take your selected seafood to enjoy by the water. Masthugget Church
Mastagi Church is located on a hillside in Gothenburg. From the platform in front of the church, you can see half of the city of Gothenburg. It is the best choice for overlooking Gothenburg. The church was completed in 1914, and the interior resembles an upside-down boat. It is considered to be the best medieval and Viking period national romantic style buildings in Sweden. Its symbol is the church bell tower more than 60 meters high. Lilla Bommens Hamn

Poseidon

The sculpture of Poseidon holds a big fish just caught in his right hand and a large shell in his left hand. The Town Hall Square is also quite large. It is located in the core area of Gothenburg's Town Hall. There is a sculpture in the middle of the square. I don't know much about the specific character introduction. You can buy some local specialty products in the surrounding shops, which is also a very good experience.

Gothenburg is a famous port city on the southwestern coast of Sweden. It is located on the Göta Canal in the Kattegat Strait, across the sea from the northern tip of Denmark. We took a boat from here to Denmark for sightseeing. Gothenburg is a very beautiful city.

You can see it directly on the seaside in the city center. This building is the Port Authority building, which is used to observe passing ships passing through the bridge. There is a large ship next to it, which is also spectacular! It is a good place to take photos in Gothenburg!
