Wutong Island is only 10 minutes away from the central street of Yeosu, and about 15 minutes to Wutong Island parking lot. It can also be reached by walking along the breakwater. In particular, the mural of the breakwater was created by the writers of the Yeosu Art Association in one month, and the road was also included in the <100 Korean Beauty Roads>. It can be said that it is full of atmosphere. It belongs to Hanryeohae National Park. There are two legends circulating on Wutong Island. One is that in the late Goryeo period, Shin Min saw the phoenix flying to Wutong Island to pick and eat the fruit of the sycamore and cut down all the sycamore trees on Wutong Island. There is also a young and beautiful woman who met a robber. In order to keep her chastity, she gave herself up and jumped into the blue waves of the Changhai Sea. The husband, who learned of the incident later, built a tomb at the foot of Wutong Island. In the winter of the year when the blizzard and gusty winds fell, he was arrested by The snow-covered tombs had the camellias removed and the mangosteens, a symbol of chastity, grew. For this reason, the camellia is also called the 'woman's heart flower'. Walking past the legendary monument, you can see the turtle ship model sitting in the center of the square, behind it is a musical fountain, and you can see another breakwater. At the cruise terminal here, you can take a boat to see and travel around Wutong Island, and you can also take a boat to Doshan Bridge, Xiangri Temple and Jinao Islands. The breakwater that extends to Gwangyang Bay on the east side and the South China Sea is also a good place for fishing. Go straight up the promenade leading to the top of the island in the central plaza, and go through the mangosteen tunnel to reach the circular promenade connecting the island's outer contours. There are camellias and mangosteens growing in every part of Odongdo Island. It is said that General Yi Sun-sin used to cut down mangosteens to use as bows and arrows when he was training soldiers here in the past.Yeosu · 30.3km from Gwangyang

Seopjikoji is located in the eastern part of Jeju Island and is a cape that extends into the open sea. There are various theories about the origin of "Seopji," such as "narrow land," while "koji" is the Jeju dialect for a cape protruding into the sea. The coastline here is composed of black volcanic rock, and red volcanic scoria can be seen around Hongak, which contrasts with rocks of various shapes. The cliff top features an open grassland where Jeju horses are often seen grazing on the grassy slopes. In the distance, the sea is blue, and you can also overlook Seongsan Ilchulbong, which is approx. 180m above sea level. This place was a filming location for the Korean drama "All In," and the scenes in the drama featuring the grassland, coastline, and white lighthouse left a deep impression. Other film and television works such as "Eyes of Dawn" and "High Kick!" were also filmed here. Walking along the coastal trail, you can see the white lighthouse standing high on the grassy slope, and after climbing the steps, you can look out over the winding coastline. The Seonseol Rock on the nearby sea is also quite unique, and there is a local legend that the son of the Dragon King waited for a fairy and then turned into a rock. The grassland also preserves a stone beacon mound from the Joseon Dynasty, which was used in the past to transmit coastal defense messages using fire and smoke. Along the path leading to the lighthouse, you can see the windbreak stone walls common in Jeju. The canola flower fields inside the walls turn golden yellow in spring, forming a coastal view together with the grassland, strange rocks, lighthouse, and the sea. Strolling along the trail, you can enjoy the coastal scenery and grassland views all the way.South Korea · Seogwipo

Haeundae Beach is located in the southeast of Busan and is an urban beach characterized by its fine white sand and shallow bay. The beach is approx. 1.5 km long with fine, soft sand, and the slope into the water is gentle, making it suitable for swimming and playing in the water. High-rise buildings and hotels are distributed around the coast, where modern urban views and the open sea complement each other, creating a unique coastal landscape. The name of the beach is related to the pen name "Haeun" of the Silla-era scholar Choi Chi-won, and the "Haeundae" inscription remains on the rocks of nearby Dongbaek Park, adding a historical touch to the coast. In summer, rows of parasols are a common sight on the beach, attracting many tourists to swim and relax. At night, the lights of the high-rise buildings reflect on the sea, and you can also enjoy the coastal night view while walking along the seaside promenade. The beach also hosts the Polar Bear Swimming Festival and the Haeundae Sand Festival, where you can enjoy large sand sculptures and related activities during the festival. During New Year's Day, the seaside is also one of the spots to watch the sunrise and welcome the new year. I visited Jeju Island during my trip to South Korea. Located in southwestern South Korea, Jeju Island is the largest island in the country and its only special autonomous province. The direct flight from Guangzhou to Jeju Island takes about two and a half hours. Jeju Island is famous for its volcanic landscape and mild climate, earning it the nickname "Korea's Hawaii." In 2007, its natural landscapes, including Hallasan Mountain and lava caves, were listed as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. Famous attractions on the island include Hallasan Mountain, lava caves, Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, and the Olle Trails, among others.

In the height of summer, Seoul Tower is more tiring with its uphill climb, but less of a hassle waiting for the cable car. It's a must-see attraction for first-time visitors. You can choose whether or not to go up the tower at your own expense; it's similar to the Oriental Pearl Tower in Shanghai. The all-glass bathrooms inside the tower are a major highlight! 😂

It's a very nice place, and I like that Koreans preserve their history, preserve their houses, and live in them. I recommend not lingering on the main street, but rather, going deeper into the area where you'll find museums and more unique, less touristy places you can stop in and stroll around. But be polite and don't make noise, because that's where people live.

Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak is an iconic World Natural Heritage site on Jeju Island. This "green crown," formed by an underwater volcanic eruption, rises majestically from the sea, its massive crater at the summit creating a stunning contrast with 99 other uniquely shaped peaks. Not only is it an exceptional spot for watching the sunrise over the sea, but climbing to the top also offers panoramic views of the azure ocean and the beautiful Udo Island. It's an unmissable destination for anyone visiting Jeju Island to experience the wonders of nature.

Also known as Seopji Cape, it's a volcanic rock cape on the east coast of Jeju Island. It's located in Seongsan-eup, Seogwipo City, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, near Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak. The name means: "Seopji" is an ancient place name, and "Gaji" is a Jeju dialect word referring to an outward-protruding terrain. Formed by a volcanic eruption approximately 200,000 years ago, the basalt coastline is open to the public free of charge. The cliffside meadows are treeless, offering expansive views; black basalt reefs contrast beautifully with the azure sea and sky, with a magnificent rock rising from the sea. The white lighthouse is a landmark, accessible by climbing to overlook the coastline; stone walls and rapeseed fields (golden in April) line the path. An ancient beacon tower (stone structure, approximately 4 meters high) is preserved. It was a filming location for the Korean dramas *All In* and *Queen In-hyun's Man*, and features the "All in House" drama museum.

Busan's sea doesn't need filters or extensive planning. Just looking at the lighthouse and listening to the waves is enough to while away the time. - 🚠 Coastline At Haeundae Beach, you can take the Sky Capsule or the Coastal Train. Unfortunately, both were sold out, so you'd have to enjoy the coastal scenery on foot. - ☕️ Sandy Blue There are many cafes along the beach, some with long queues. I randomly went into Sandy Blue; there's a window on the second floor facing the lighthouse. -

It is a very iconic spot in Busan. A myraid of houses in different colour makes a beautiful view. Grab some drink and snack on the way up the hill. U must to go the flipbook studio. It is good for couples. If you dont have time, dont need to climb to the top and take pic with the little prince. There is nothing special.
