Things to do in Hebei

The Chengde Mountain Resort in Hebei Province is worth a full day of exploring. The resort is quite large, with shuttle buses and boat tours available, though you'll need to pay extra to choose your own routes. I really enjoy strolling around like this.

If we're talking about the most famous attraction in Changli County, Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province, it has to be the Aranya Community. Originally a real estate development project intended as a community, it has now transformed into a popular tourist destination. This is because the unique atmosphere created by the cultural heritage and neighborly relations within the Aranya Community makes both residents and visitors feel comfortable. Due to the success of the Aranya project, it's now undoubtedly Changli's must-visit spot for social media check-ins, and it's definitely worth a visit.

Shanhaiguan, renowned as the "First Pass Under Heaven," exudes a profound sense of history. The majestic city gate towers are imposing, and the well-preserved city walls make a stroll through the ancient streets feel like stepping back in time. Nestled between mountains and the sea, its strategic location makes it a crucial pass on the Great Wall. Climbing the towers offers panoramic views of the ancient city and distant mountains, perfect for taking stunning photos. The NPC have fun interactive games and speeches. There’s a lot of singers and dancers. There’s so many kinds of street food and restaurants. The ticket was easy to purchase and use at the entrance. This place is definitely worth the trip.

Guangfu Ancient City is a 5A scenic area in Handan, a rare combination of a water town, an ancient city, and a Tai Chi city in northern China. Entry is free, but separate tickets are required to climb the city walls, visit the government offices, and see the former residences. Key attractions: 1. Tai Chi Cultural Sites: The former residences of Yang Luchan and Wu Yuxiang, the birthplace of Yang and Wu styles of Tai Chi, where you can see late Qing Dynasty residences and inscriptions on Tai Chi theory. 3. Guangping Government Office: A Ming and Qing Dynasty government office complex, recreating the layout of an ancient government office; often featuring light shows and folk performances at night. 4. Night Cruise on the Moat: Enjoy a boat ride with a strong nighttime atmosphere; iron flower performances are also held on holidays.

This is a Buddhist holy site well worth visiting. The Thousand-Handed and Thousand-Eyed Buddha and the mural of the Reclining Guanyin are historical and artistic treasures that have been preserved intact for future generations to appreciate and understand history! An even greater gain was visiting the memorial hall of Mr. Liang Sicheng, where I learned about the contributions he and Lin Huiyin made to the preservation of historical sites in my country and their transmission in education, so that we, the later generations, can appreciate these historical sites!

During the hottest days of summer, the whole family came to Chongli for a vacation. The weather was cool and the grass was lush and green. There were many food options, including barbecue, stir-fries, and hot pot. There were also performances, go-karts, and a cable car, making it a worthwhile place to visit.

Definitely worth a visit! Besides Chenghai Tower and Laolongtou, there's the endless seaside and the Qinhuangdao ferry terminal. There's also a Mazu Temple, perfect for taking photos. There are historical buildings as well. And a bathing beach. Great for having fun in the summer.

The Hebei Provincial Museum is definitely worth a visit. It boasts a rich and diverse collection of exhibits, arranged scientifically and logically. It also offers a wide variety of cultural and creative products and activities. It's not only suitable for teenagers but also for children.

The park has a large parking lot and covers a considerable area. Just inside the entrance is the animal area, and after passing through, you reach the beach. The sand is fine and the coastline is quite long. The scenery is beautiful, and children could easily spend half a day there.
