The Icelandic Phallological Museum is located in the center of Reykjavik. It is one of the few museums in the world dedicated to specimens of reproductive organs, founded by Sigurður Hjartarson. This seemingly bizarre museum actually combines biological research with cultural interest, making it one of Iceland's unique popular science attractions. The collection covers hundreds of specimens from over a hundred mammal species, ranging from cetaceans, walruses, seals, and polar bears to native species like Icelandic horses and reindeer. A sperm whale specimen over one m long exudes an imposing presence, while the bone of a hamster's reproductive organ is only millimeters in size and requires a magnifying glass to see clearly. The specimens are systematically preserved in formaldehyde jars or mounted on walls. Human specimens are another highlight: the museum waited years for a suitable donated human specimen, and this story was even documented in a film; a set of silver sculptures modeled after Iceland's national handball team, which won silver at the Beijing Olympics, is also often talked about.

The Vatnajökull ice cap has an average thickness of nearly 400 m. Beneath the thick ice lie several active volcanoes, including Grímsvötn and Bárðarbunga. Geothermal heat generated by volcanic activity constantly acts on the base of the glacier. Here, "ice and fire" is not just a literary metaphor, but a geological process that plays out day after day—volcanic eruptions can even trigger glacial floods, with rushing meltwater carrying ice blocks downstream. The park encompasses a rich variety of landscapes, offering diverse activities such as hiking, glacier viewing, and caving. Every winter, blue ice caves naturally form at the edge of the glacier, with the deep blue ice walls displaying dreamlike colors as light penetrates them. Vatnajökull is also a filming location for the "Beyond the Wall" scenes in Game of Thrones. Standing on the vast ice field, visitors feel as small as dust in the boundless expanse, and that raw, cold natural power truly resonates with the atmosphere of the North in the show.

Skógafoss is located on the south coast of Iceland. The Skógá River cascades down from the top of a cliff approx. 60 m high and 25 m wide, forming an almost continuous curtain of water. This cliff is a remnant of Iceland's ancient coastline—as the coastline has retreated southward over thousands of years, the former coastal cliff was left inland, and the waterfall now plunges directly from the edge of this cliff. The area in front of the waterfall is filled with mist year-round, and on sunny days, you can often see a single or even a double rainbow; if you walk to the base of the waterfall, you will get soaked by the mist. On the east side of the waterfall, there is a zigzagging staircase trail leading to the top of the cliff, where you can overlook the entire waterfall and the distant south coast plains. There is also an ancient Norse legend about this waterfall: it is said that in the early days, someone hid a chest of gold treasure behind the waterfall. After rumors of the treasure spread, treasure hunters came in an endless stream, and later, someone actually found the ring of the chest here. This ring is now kept in the nearby Skógar Museum, and the legend of the treasure has been passed down to this day, becoming part of the waterfall's unique cultural charm.

Hallgrimskirkja sits on a hill in the capital of Iceland and is named after the 17th-century Icelandic poet and clergyman Hallgrímur Pétursson. The church was designed by Icelandic architect Guðjón Samúelsson, with a design inspired by the natural forms of Iceland's basalt columns, featuring hexagonal pillars reaching upward. The tapering wings on both sides of the tower resemble a giant pipe organ standing on the city skyline when viewed from a distance. Construction began in 1945 and was completed in 1986, spanning over 40 years. The tower is approx. 73m high and is a prominent landmark on the Reykjavik skyline. Visitors can take an elevator to the observation deck at the top of the tower to overlook the city's colorful rooftops and the bay and mountains in the distance. The interior of the church is towering and minimalist, with a large pipe organ featuring over 5,000 pipes spanning above the entrance. It is one of the largest pipe organs in Iceland, making the church an important music venue in Reykjavik that regularly hosts organ concerts.
