A sandy beach with many palm trees is a beach developed in recent years, surrounded by newly developed hotel areas, and the facilities are basically complete. Living here, quiet and comfortable, there is a feeling of being in a paradise. The water here is clear, and you can see a lot of colorful fish on the bottom of the sea. When the tide is low, you can walk from this beach to the opposite KohManNai island.Koh Chang · 4.4km from downtown

Lonely Beach has fewer tourists than White Beach, and there are no shops around, just a large wooden house built high on the beach. Locals and tourists have turned this place into a seaside gathering place. During the day there are tourists sunbathing here, and at night the party here is very high, which fully reflects the enthusiasm of the island.Koh Chang · 5.6km from downtown

White Beach is a beach developed earlier on Koh Chang. The sand is soft, the sea water is crystal clear, and you can watch the beautiful sunset. The surrounding infrastructure is complete. There are many hotels to choose from near the beach, and the streets are full of "horses killing chickens" and spas, small restaurants, large restaurants and convenience stores, which are very lively.Koh Chang · 9.3km from downtown

BangBao is a fishing village located on the south side of Koh Chang, close to the bay BangBaoBay. The fishing village is very small and built on the water. There is a long corridor with shops, bars, restaurants, etc. on both sides, and of course there are residents. The house building is very distinctive, using wooden piles to drive piling on the beach, and then building the house, when the tide is high, it is a 'villa' on the sea, which has a unique style. There are also fishing boats on the seaside that can carry tourists to the sea, and there are colorful corals on the seabed. Most tourists come here for the fresh seafood.Koh Chang · 8.7km from downtown

Close to White Beach, a beach with few tourists, the shore is densely packed with coconut trees and chalets of various styles. The consumption here is cheaper than that of White Beach, where you can quietly bask in the sun and blow the sea breeze. Drinks and fresh coconuts can be purchased at nearby restaurants, as well as a Thai massage.Koh Chang · 4.3km from downtown

Chao Phraya River

4.5/5

The Chao Phraya River is the customary name used by the Chinese community for the river known in Thai as "Chao Phraya." The term "Chao Phraya" originates from Thai, literally meaning "mother of waters," while its Thai name is often translated as "river of kings," both reflecting the river's significance in Thailand. It originates in the northern mountains of Thailand, flows south through the central plains, passes the ancient capital of Ayutthaya, and runs through the heart of Bangkok before emptying into the Gulf of Thailand. Including its upstream tributaries, it stretches over 1,000 km. Bangkok grew alongside this river, once crisscrossed by waterways and dubbed the "Venice of the East." Even today, the Chao Phraya River remains a vital waterway for local transportation and daily life. Taking a cruise is a classic way to explore the river. By day, the water bustles with public ferries, cargo boats, and crossings, resembling a watery highway for Bangkok residents, while traditional floating markets have mostly relocated to tributaries. Along the river, historic landmarks like the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, and Wat Arun glide past, juxtaposed with modern malls like ICONSIAM across the water. A short ferry ride from Tha Tian Pier leads to Wat Arun on the opposite bank. At night, the river transforms as lights illuminate both shores, with Wat Arun's porcelain-clad spires shimmering softly. Sightseeing and dinner cruises set sail, offering a distinctly different atmosphere from the land-based experience. If timing allows, an evening cruise lets you witness both the sunset and the city lights, capturing two faces of the river in one trip. △Sparkling Chao Phraya River △Enchanting night view at Chao Phraya RiverThailand · Bangkok

Wei Island is one of the four islands in the tour. The sandy beach is very shallow and extends all the way to the bottom of the sea. The water here is unpolluted and crystal clear, making it an excellent place for snorkeling, and different sea areas have their own characteristics: some have magnificent coral reefs, some are habitats for colorful fish, and some are in the same area. The sea water has different colors due to the contrast of different marine life.Koh Chang · 18.7km from downtown

I can say Koh Chang white sand beach is anathor Phuket for budget travel but still is one of the little more expensive places on Koh Chang and the largest beach. Its liek a crystal and realy nice water, good beach restaurants and a chill and relaxing vibe. It is also possible to get a good massage at the beach.

Tham Mayom Waterfall is located in the Koh Chang National Park. It is the most beautiful waterfall on Koh Chang. There is water flowing all year round. It is a medium-sized 4-tiered waterfall. It is a stream flowing down in layers along a black granite groove. The surrounding area is a rainforest with steep cliffs that are almost vertical. The weather is cool and comfortable. It is very suitable for camping, playing in the waterfall, and hiking.

A fantastic tour! Enjoy a buffet on the deck, feel the river breeze, admire the scenery on both banks, and listen to a live band. The views along both sides of the Chao Phraya River are unobstructed. I recommend taking a boat at night for an even more beautiful night view!
