The monastery area includes a labyrinth of cave churches and numerous wonderful museums. The cave church consists of two caves 400 meters apart. It used to be a monastery and later a tomb for priests, who were naturally air-dried into mummies due to the special environment of the cave. In the museum, you can see archaeological relics from Egypt, Cyprus, Jerusalem and other places, gold and silver handicrafts from the 15th to 20th centuries, historical paintings and paintings and sculptures by modern painters Picasso, Dali and others. .Kyiv · 2.7km from downtown

The Golden Gate was built in the 11th century and was originally the main gate of the ancient city of Kyiv. It is named after the door leaf and the dome of the church on the gatehouse decorated with gilded copper foil. Later, during the Western Expedition from Batu, the Golden Gate was damaged, and then fell into disrepair. In 1983, the government rebuilt the Golden Gate and a section of the ancient city wall on the original site, and set up a museum and a park. The museum displays many cultural relics of ancient Kyiv.Kyiv · 726m from downtown

It was a very large monument. It had its hands raised in a threatening pose. It was in a park, but it was a very noticeable statue.

This cave monastery is actually not inside a cave. Instead, it is a large and exquisite monastery. It is not like the ancient monasteries in Europe that we imagine. It is worth a visit.
