Pagsom Co is also known as Gongga Lake. It means "three rocks" in Tibetan. Located in Gongbo'gyamda County, it is a sacred lake of the Nyingma Branch of Tibetan Buddhism. The shape of Pagsom Co is like a crescent embedded in the deep valley. The water is clear, reflecting the surrounding snowy mountains and primordial forests. The Tsozong Gongba Monastery stands on Tashi Island and was built during the late Tang Dynasty. The reefs on the island are carved into images of animals and Buddha statues. Tsozong Gongba Monastery is a two-story structure of earth and wooden materials. The three statues, Chenresig, Guru Rimpoché and Sakya Thukpa, are worshiped here.China · Gongbo'gyamda

Ranwu Lake is a barrier lake in the headwaters of the Parlung Zangbo River, a tributary of the Yarlung Zangbo River, formed by landslides and debris flows blocking the river channel. The lake sits at an altitude of over 3,800m, and the narrow lake body stretches for over 20 km, consisting of three connected lakes—Yangcuo, Bangcuo, and Leng'anjia Bu—forming a chain. It is no more than 1–2 km wide at its widest point, resembling a string of pearls laid beneath the snow-capped mountains. Its end is adjacent to the Laigu Glacier group, and glacial meltwater continuously flows into the lake, providing a constant supply. The lakeshore is covered with vast meadows, the pebble beaches along the shore are colorful, and white waterfowl can often be seen swimming in the shallows. Each season here has its own highlights: in spring, tree shadows sway on the lake surface; in summer, the meadows turn green; in autumn, the forests are dyed golden; in winter, mist fills the air and snow-capped peaks stretch endlessly, and the lake water also shifts between azure blue and greenish-blue depending on the season and lighting.China · Basu

Located on the north bank of the Yarlung Zangbo River Grand Canyon in Nyingchi City's Milin County, Suosong Village is well off the beaten track. It is a good place from which to watch the sun set over the nearby Namcha Barwa Mountain. Compared with the lively Zhibai Village, Suosong is a very quiet village surrounded by idyllic scenery. The Yarlung Zangbo River is next to the village. There is also a lush peach forest. Every spring, the peach blossoms combine with the surrounding rivers and snowy mountains in the background to make a very beautiful and picturesque scene.China · Mainling

Kadinggou Attraction, also known as Kading Tianfo Waterfall Forest Attraction, is located on the banks of the Niyang River, 24 kilometers from Bayi Town on National Highway 318. The valley is full of towering ancient trees and gurgling water, and the environment is very beautiful. The cliffs on both sides have peculiar shapes, with various images such as big Buddhas and animals. There is also a 200-meter-high Tianfo Waterfall in the depths of the canyon, which is very beautiful. Kadinggou Scenic Attraction is not large. There are steps and plank roads in the Attraction, and you can walk around in about an hour. The main attraction in the Attraction is Tianfo Waterfall. Going up to the viewing platform, the silver chain-like water flows on the cliff, which is very spectacular. When the waterfall is small, it floats down like a silver chain, and when the water is large, it is magnificent and thrilling. There is a naturally formed Buddha statue on the rock wall behind the waterfall. It is said that this is the patron saint of Tibetan compatriots in Linzhi area. The face is clear, as if it was artificially carved. There are male and female guardians on both sides of the Buddha statue, and they are also solemn and lifelike. The female guardian Bandan Lhamo on the right is about 100 meters tall. You can vaguely see that she is wearing a veil, a ribbon around her waist, and holding Buddhist beads. Her image is lifelike; on the left is Jigong worshipping Buddha, and her image is equally lifelike. In addition to the heavenly Buddha and the guardians on both sides, there are also naturally formed abstract Buddhist landscapes around the cliff, such as Tathagata, Guanyin, Lama chanting, divine turtle calling the sky, divine eagle offering treasures, and butter lamps. Although they are also lifelike, they still require a little imagination. It is said that people with a predestined relationship with Buddhism can better see their forms. Under the waterfall, local Tibetans often support their elderly parents to come here to worship, hang prayer flags and offer Hada.China · Nyingchi

"Zizhu" is a literal translation of Tibetan pronunciation, meaning the top of six mountains, and religiously symbolizes the sixth degree of Paramita. It is said that the Zizhu Temple was founded by the Tibetan king Muchizanpo. In the era of the living Buddha Luodan Nyinpo, the Zizhu Temple was expanded once, and the scriptures were engraved and the Buddha statues were shaped, and the Zizhu Temple began to take shape. Entering the era of Lama Gawanglanga, the monastery's esoteric and esoteric study system was further standardized and institutionalized. Under the hard work of the living Buddhas and masters of the Zizhu Temple in the past dynasties, the Zizhu Temple had an important impact on the later religious development in Qamdo in terms of building scale, number of monks, system of learning scriptures and style of dancing gods. Especially after Buddhism dominated most of Tibetan areas, Bon religion survived in the area centered on Zizhu Temple, which made Zizhu Temple enjoy a high reputation among Bon temples. Until now, most of the residents in this area still believe in Bon religion, and Zizhu Temple has also become a special holy place for Bon culture.Dengqen · 55.5km from Lhorong

Guoguotang Big Turnis one of the most distinctive natural landscapes in the Nujiang River Canyon. The mountains here are majestic and the river winds through them, with the massive mountains and the rushing Nujiang River together creating a spectacular canyon view. Standing in the viewing area and looking out, you can see the Nujiang River forming a beautiful and distinct bend among the mountains, with the river water resembling a blue-green ribbon winding through the canyon, creating a magnificent sight. The mountains on both banks are towering and steep, covered with dense vegetation that displays rich colors in different seasons. In spring and summer, the forests are lush green, with clouds and mist drifting slowly among the mountains; in fall, some slopes change color, contrasting with the deep canyon and the river; on clear days, the blue sky and white clouds are reflected on the river surface, making the entire canyon appear exceptionally open.China · Motuo

Midui Glacier is one of the most iconic glacier views in southeastern Tibet. Here, towering snow-capped mountains, dense forests, and clear lakes create a unique and magnificent natural view as the glacier extends from the mountain peaks down into the forests and valleys. Pristine white ice and snow cover the peaks, shimmering with a crystalline glow under the sunlight. The glacier slowly descends from the heights toward the valley, with massive, layered ice formations where the glacier tongue meets the slopes and forests, creating a spectacular landscape of ice and snow. In spring and summer, the valley is lush with greenery, and wildflowers dot the forests; in autumn, the forest colors become richer, contrasting beautifully with the snow-capped mountains; while winter presents a purer, more tranquil world of ice and snow.China · Bome

The scenery was beautiful, the experience was fantastic, and the management was excellent; the entire trip was very comfortable. I hope the sightseeing bus service to Jiba Village can be improved to make it easier for tourists to get in and out.

The advantage of the off-season is that you don't have to squeeze into crowds, you can enjoy a private car service, it's convenient to come and go, the driver is very nice, and it's a leisurely trip. Although I didn't see the true face of Namcha Barwa, I got a double rainbow 🌈, thank you!!

Namcha Barwa is absolutely worth a visit! I went with my family. Located in Nyingchi, Tibet, Namcha Barwa is shrouded in mist year-round. At 7,782 meters, it's the highest peak at the eastern end of the Himalayas. At its foot lies the Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon—the world's deepest canyon. The weather was pretty good the day I went; although clouds obscured the summit, I could still see almost the entire mountain, so I was lucky. It was a bit of a shame that the sun wasn't strong enough to see the golden sunrise on the mountain.

Tibet! I would like to do it thousands of times! To see the most beautiful scenery of Ranwu Lake, you must go there in early spring in Tibet, around mid-to-late April, when the frozen lake surface has just melted, the azure blue water is exposed above the ice, and the snow-capped mountains are reflected in the water. After seeing it, you can't help but sigh: It's so beautiful!

Suosong Village: A Peach Blossom Secret Hidden on the Banks of the Yarlung Zangbo River If you're looking for a place that blends snow-capped mountains, a river, and peach blossoms into one stunning scene, Suosong Village should be high on your list. It sits midway up the Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon, overlooking the majestic silhouette of Mount Namjagbarwa and the surging Yarlung Zangbo River. In spring, peach blossoms blanket the mountains, while in autumn, layers of forests paint the valley. Even the morning mist on ordinary days seems to shroud the village in a gentle veil. Most of the village's inns have been converted from Tibetan-style dwellings, offering breathtaking views from the window. In the evening, sit in the courtyard and watch the sunset gild the snow-capped mountains. In the morning, listen to the gurgling river and wait for the first rays of sunlight to penetrate the clouds, and even time seems to slow down. There's no need to search for scenic spots; simply stroll along the village roads, encounter villagers carrying barley, or find a quiet spot on a rock by the river to experience the healing power of the Tibetan mountains. The only thing to note is that you need to book a room in advance during the peak season, and it is recommended to drive slowly as the mountain road is winding - but the journey is definitely worth it.

The path is quite difficult to walk, but there are a lot of tourists, so it is definitely worth a visit. Let me say something different. Can the restrooms be cleaned up? The women's restroom is impossible to enter, and the floor is covered in feces. It's disgusting.

Guoguotang Big Bend is not a large scenic area. Standing on the observation deck, you can see the rushing Yarlung Zangbo River making a 180° turn like a snake among the misty tea gardens, like a long dragon entwined among the lush rainforest. The peculiar landscape makes me marvel at the wonders of nature.

First of all, don't ride a horse when you go to Midui. Don't ride a horse. Don't ride a horse. Don't ride a horse. I'll say it three times. Reasons: First, the walking path is only 1.5 kilometers. Although the altitude is 3,900, the walking route is full of ancient forests. There is plenty of oxygen. Basically, you don't have to worry about altitude sickness. You can walk and stop and have fun. It's very easy to walk to the viewing platform. When I went there, even the old men and women in the sunset group who took the scenic area car walked to the viewing platform. Second, the round-trip price of horse riding is 100 per person. If you take another route, you will miss the scenery on the walking path. And it will limit your time to take pictures at the viewing platform. In addition, the horses are very dirty, not to mention the smell. Third, and most importantly, you can't choose the horse. You have to ride whatever is brought to you. There is no choice. Basically, 90% of the horses are pitifully thin. Those who want to take pictures on horseback advise you to give up this idea. And the local Tibetans who lead horses are extremely arrogant and bad, and even pull you. Because of this personal experience, I chose to walk. Now it seems to be a very correct choice, so I don't want to ruin the good mood of the trip, I advise you to get off the scenic area bus and go straight to the walking path. As for the scenery of Midui Glacier, I personally feel it is worth it. In addition, let's talk about the walking time. Three hours is enough for walking, stopping, taking photos, resting, taking photos at the viewing platform, and taking aerial photos. Don't worry about altitude sickness. I took my 70-year-old mother who has basic diseases such as hypertension and coronary heart disease, and she walked to the viewing platform easily. So finally, I advise you again, stay away from the horses in Midui and those villagers who are trying to cheat you out of money.
