Things to do in Longnan

At 4154 meters, I experienced some altitude sickness. Drinking some water helped. The scenery was beautiful 👍. There were several types of rhododendrons to admire, and there were also maps available to familiarize you with them before seeing the actual plants. After taking the cable car up, you still have to climb several kilometers of boardwalk, which was a bit strenuous. Altitude sickness is a real headache; drinking some water provided temporary relief.

A paradise on earth, the Jiangnan region of Gansu, Tianchi Lake is divided into east and west routes. Those who enjoy photography can choose the west route, which is gentle and offers many picturesque shots. The east route involves climbing hills and is more suitable for those with ample physical strength. Furthermore, the forests along the east route are rich in wild mushrooms; mushroom enthusiasts may choose the east route.

It's a sight well worth seeing. The stalactites and the lights inside are very beautiful. The stairs are a bit slippery, so please be careful when you go into the cave to avoid falling. I'll definitely come back again!

The autumn foliage season was absolutely stunning! The forests were ablaze with color, the streams murmured, and there weren't many people, making for a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, many shops were closed due to the lack of crowds; staff mentioned they only open on weekends when it gets busier. Also, since we entered from the west gate and exited from the east gate, there was no shuttle bus to the west gate, so staff helped us call a taxi.

An underrated hidden gem in Gansu, truly deserving the title of "Little Jiuzhaigou of Gansu." The Guanzhugou Canyon Waterfall Group is breathtaking, with the 100-meter-high Guange Waterfall shrouded in mist. Along the way, there are more than ten emerald-colored lakes with clear, layered waters. The alpine lake Zedangcuo in Emangou offers stunning reflections. With its extremely high forest coverage and an average summer temperature of 22℃, it's a natural oxygen bar, brimming with negative oxygen ions throughout. You won't be crammed in with crowds, and every snapshot will be a wallpaper-worthy masterpiece.

Highly recommended. There weren't many people during the National Day holiday, probably because of the epidemic. The scenery is beautiful and the lake is clear. The management is also more humane. Most of the merchants in the scenic area are nearby villagers, with simple folk customs and inexpensive things. Next time I'll consider staying in a farmhouse in the scenic area. The experience is better in spring.

Be sure to choose a good day and go to see the sunrise early in the morning. If you are just going for fun, it is more appropriate to go in the afternoon. The top of the mountain is shrouded in clouds and mist, there are many bends, and the road is easier to walk. The cement road is not built to the end, and there is a large section of dirt road at the end. Drive carefully.

Guangxiang Temple, among them, was first built during the Northern Song Dynasty and has undergone repeated rise and fall over the years. It has become a significant venue for Buddhist ceremonies in Longnan and surrounding areas. It borders Xianren Cliff to the east, Luanshan Mountain to the west, and the Nanhe River to the north. Known for its stunning peaks, picturesque waters, and unique caves, Jifeng Mountain is known as the premier mountain in Longnan and the most scenic spot in Anhui Province. It is renowned in Shaanxi, Gansu, and Sichuan provinces and is a renowned niche attraction in the surrounding area.
