Mount SiguniangLocated in Xiaojin County, Aba Prefecture, it consists of four continuous peaks. The four peaks are covered with snow all year round, resembling four graceful maidens with white veils, standing successively above the two silver rivers of Changping Valley and Haizi Valley, hence the name Mount Siguniang. At Maobiliang, you can see the magnificent view of the four connected peaks by the roadside, making it a great spot for photography. Mount Siguniang consists of four snow peaks and three valleys: Shuangqiao Valley, Changping Valley, and Haizi Valley. Pure outdoor enthusiasts may choose to hike through and camp in the valleys, but they must strictly comply with the attraction's regulations on outdoor activities.Xiaojin · 45.5km from downtown

Shuangqiaogou got its name from the two wooden bridges in the valley. The ditch is mainly dominated by snow peaks, pastures, grasslands, forests, etc. It is a beautiful ditch in Siguniang Mountain. Walking in the ditch, you can experience the real pastoral scenery. The main scenic spots are Yinyang Valley, Hunter Peak, Sun and Moon Mirror and Five Colors Mountain, etc. For the convenience of traffic, the local people built two wooden bridges in the ditch, one of which was made of willow wood, commonly known as the willow bridge; the other was made of red cedar wood, commonly known as the convenience bridge. Shuangqiaogou got its name from this. The mountains in Shuangqiaogou are steep and tortuous, with lush forests. There are not only the common birch forests and cypress forests in the low mountain areas, but also the spruce, fir, and redwood in the high mountain areas, and even the sea buckthorn, shrubs, and larch. Every spring and autumn, the ditch is colorful and spectacular. There are sightseeing cars in the ditch that go directly to the end of the ditch, so you can enjoy the wonders in the ditch effortlessly.Xiaojin · 42.3km from downtown

Changpinggou is about 29 kilometers long. The canyon is long and deep. The peak of Siguniang Mountain, Meimei Peak, is located here. The main attractions include Zhangmu Village, Lama Temple, Ganhaizi and Hongshi Beach. The canyon of Changpinggou is deep and deep, and most sections can only be accessed by horseback or on foot. There are rich species of primitive plants in Changpinggou, and the vegetation is well preserved. In the vast primeval forest, the ancient cypresses are tall and straight, the green pines are dense and leafy, and the fir trees and willows are dense and dense, covering the sky. Tibetan villages are dotted among them. Among them, Zhangmu Village is the largest Jiarong Tibetan village in the area. It retains the unique architectural style of Jiarong Tibetans and has simple folk customs. The surrounding area is full of rugged rocks and blooming mountain flowers. There are also dozens of meters of waterfalls rushing down, splashing water, which is quite spectacular. The streams flow through the grassland, showing a scene of harmonious coexistence between man and nature. Changpinggou is a paradise for outdoor sports enthusiasts. It is the base camp for climbing the Third and Fourth Peaks, and an ideal place for rock climbing and ice climbing.Xiaojin · 45.8km from downtown

Haizi Vallety is named after the dozens of lakes of different sizes in the ditch, which sparkle like gems under the sunshine. The water in Haizi Vallety contains copper, so it looks particularly blue. When the breeze blows, the blue waves sparkle, which is quite beautiful. Haizigou is 19 kilometers long. There are more than ten alpine lakes in the ditch, such as Dahaizi, Huahaizi, Baihai, Lanhai, Huanghai, etc. The lake water is clear and blue. Standing on the shore, watching the yellow ducks wandering leisurely on the water, it seems that everything in the world can be forgotten. Haizi Vallety has a rugged terrain and can only be walked or ridden. Generally, few people can reach the place with lakes. The place where ordinary people reach most is Guozhuangping. This is one of the best places to watch the heroic appearance of Siguniang Mountain. Every year on the fourth day of May, Tibetans from the surrounding areas will gather in Guozhuangping, dance the cheerful Guozhuang, and worship Siguniang Mountain.Xiaojin · 51.7km from downtown

Cat's Nose Ridge is a roadside viewing platform on the way to Siguniangshan Town. Standing here and looking into the distance, the four snow-capped peaks of Mount Siguniang are lined up in a row. Yaomei Peak is striking in size and is known as the Queen of Sichuan Mountains. The foreground features the Chaoshanping ridge in the direction of Haizigou, where grassy slopes rise gently, framing the distant snow-capped peaks with clear layers. Morning and evening are the times when the light here is softer, and the sunlight dyes the snow-capped peaks golden red from the summit down. It is right next to the road, so you can take photos just a few steps after getting out of the car, and you can take in the view of all four snow-capped peaks without having to enter the Mount Siguniang Scenic Area.Xiaojin · 46km from downtown

Siguniangshan Dafeng is one of the four peaks of Siguniangshan, located in Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, China. When the city is sweltering under summer heat waves, why not set your sights on the Western Sichuan Plateau for a cool rendezvous withMount Siguniang?Located within the Shuangqiao Valley Scenic Area, Mount Siguniang Rafting has become a premier summer escape, offering a unique experience of "snowmelt water" and "sailing through a painting." Unlike traditional rafting that focuses on splashing rapids, the current here is generally gentle, with only a few slightly faster sections, ensuring a relaxing experience for all. Drift downstream in a kayak, where the snowmelt water keeps things cool and instantly washes away the summer heat. As you drift, take in the surrounding scenery: look up to see towering snow-capped mountains against blue skies and white clouds, while the banks are lined with alpine meadows, dense sea buckthorn forests, and primeval forests. You might even spot herds of yaks grazing leisurely by the stream. Sailing through this living painting, it feels as if you've stepped into a pristine, fairytale world.Xiaojin · 42.2km from downtown

We entered Changpinggou early in the morning, each person taking a horse for the round trip. The scenery along the way was truly beautiful and pristine. After the rain, the sky cleared, and Yaomei Peak stood majestically, so magnificent I wanted to hug it tightly. However, the muddy puddles on the road were splashed with mud by the horses, ruining my pants and shoes 😂. My butt was throbbing with pain from the ride. Anyone wanting to experience horseback riding should bring several thick layers of clothing to cushion their bottom. Going up was alright, but coming down was all downhill, and my legs were so sore I could barely walk after dismounting.

If you love nature, please come here. 🌿 At the end of summer, the scenery is still beautiful—the absolute best moment for a gentle water drift. Let your emotions bloom in the quiet green. ✨ (And yes, it’s completely safe and peaceful enough for a 1-year-old baby’s very first river adventure!)

Mount Siguniang, known as the Queen of Sichuan Mountains, was a popular destination for my wife and me today. After getting off the tour bus, we explored Changping Valley. The weather was beautiful, with gentle breezes and stunning scenery. Streams babbled along the way, and snow-capped mountains stood majestically. My wife, being less energetic, rested at Kushu Beach. I hiked all the way to Muluozi, where I looked up directly at the Yaomei Peak of Mount Siguniang – a truly breathtaking experience. Highly recommended!

Avoid horseback riding at all costs! Avoid horseback riding at all costs! Avoid horseback riding at all costs! I booked a round-trip horseback ride to Huahaizi for 720 yuan, but on the way there, the driver at the pick-up point refused to take me! He said he didn't want to go anymore. Later I found out he went to pick up hikers coming down from Dafeng in the early morning and ripped them off! I was speechless! So here's my very honest advice for anyone going to Haizigou: 1. Don't ride a horse. If you want to ride, only go as far as Chaotianping. Don't go any further. First, you're likely to get ripped off, and second, the scenery is best at Chaotianping. Go as far as Shiban Re, and the Dahaizi area is really not worth it; it's quite ordinary. Huahaizi is just a ditch unless it's in bloom. Anyone who goes there is a huge waste of 20km of boring mountain trails. Anyone who rides a horse is a fool who gets ripped off by the horsemen. (Attached photos: the first two are of Chaotianping, the last two are of the endless, muddy horse trail beyond Chaotianping, and Dahaizi, which is only 20km further on the round trip.) 🙂

Maobiliang is a viewing point on the road along the Sichuan West Loop. From here, as long as the weather is good, you can see the whole picture of Siguniang Mountain, especially the highest peak, Simei Peak, which is the second highest peak in western Sichuan. The snow on the top of the mountain never melts all year round. The surrounding mountains are also very beautiful when viewed from the viewing point!

Mount Siguniang, known as the "Queen of Sichuan Mountains," is a must-see snow-capped mountain paradise in western Sichuan. Shuangqiao Valley offers a relaxing sightseeing bus tour, with redwood forests, meadows, and lakes unfolding in succession, the lakes reflecting the snow-capped peaks – every view is a masterpiece. Changping Valley is perfect for hiking, offering close-up views of Yaomei Peak, accompanied by forest streams and a truly immersive mountain atmosphere. Plateau weather is unpredictable, with significant temperature differences between day and night; be sure to dress warmly and be aware of altitude sickness. The harmonious blend of snow-capped mountains, meadows, and forests offers both magnificent landscapes and soothing wilderness scenery – a place you'll never forget.

Sigunacuo Lake attracts visitors with its unique natural scenery and tranquil atmosphere: · Reflections of Snow-capped Mountains and Clear Lake Water: The lake's crystal-clear waters, like a mirror, clearly reflect the surrounding snow-capped mountains, dramatic rock formations, and forests. The scenery is spectacular, especially on clear days, making it a prime photography spot. · Dead Trees and Lake and Mountain Scenery: Many dead trees (primarily sea buckthorn) stand tall in the lake, left by mudslides or earthquakes. These, combined with the azure waters and distant snow-capped mountains, create a unique and slightly desolate beauty, described as "a desolate scene brimming with life." · The scenery varies with each season: · Spring: Lush green grass, refreshing and refreshing. · Summer: A lush greenery, refreshing and refreshing. · Autumn: The forests are ablaze with vibrant colors, a breathtaking spectacle. · Winter: The lake, blanketed in silver, blends beautifully with the snow-capped mountains, creating a tranquil and mysterious scene.
