The India Gate is located in the city of Delhi. It commemorates the Indian soldiers who died in the First World War and the Third Anglo-Afghan War, and is also the dividing line between the old and the new Delhi. Under the India Gate flag is the monument to the Unknown Soldier. The monument is made of black marble and has a model of a gun standing on it to commemorate the soldiers. Usually there are many soldiers around the gate of India, tourists can take pictures with the soldiers, but the consent of the soldiers is required. There will also be many small vendors nearby, where you can pick up some small souvenirs. There is also the Parliament Building near India Gate where you can visit and take pictures. If you have more time, you can come back to enjoy the night view. The lights on the white building are very shocking.New Delhi · 48.8km from Nan

It is the largest temple in India at present. The religious buildings that took 5 years and tens of thousands of people to build are listed in the Guinness Book of World Records. While embodying Indian religious art, it is also a place for entertainment and leisure in New Delhi. The main building of the temple is composed of ochre red sandstone and white marble. It is located in the main hall with 148 full-size elephant statues, a total of 9 domes and 239 decorative columns. There is a 3-meter-high gilded statue of Narayan and more than 2,000 Hindu statues in the temple, with different expressions. The pillars are exquisitely carved, and the murals are colorful. The whole temple is gorgeous and elegant, and exquisite religious art is reflected everywhere.New Delhi · 44.2km from Nan

Bangora Sahibi is near Connaught Place. It is the largest Sikh temple in Delhi. The white building is made of white marble, and the dome is covered with gold leaf, which is very luxurious and eye-catching. The interior of the temple is also dominated by white and gold colors. The clergy chanted scriptures, the believers sat on the carpet and prayed devoutly. The music echoed in the temple, and the whole scene was pious and holy. The pool water here is regarded as holy water by Sikhs, and many believers will come to fetch water specially.New Delhi · 50.7km from Nan

Located in the southeast of Delhi, the Lotus Temple was built in 1986 and named after its shape resembling a blooming lotus flower. Although it is a Ha'i chapel, people of any race and religion can pray here, showing great inclusiveness. The temple is built with white marble, which looks like three layers of white petals from a distance, and the "lotus" is supported by nine clear water pools. The tall and empty temple has neither statues nor decorations such as carvings and murals. Rows of white marble benches and a podium for the chair were set on the smooth floor. There is no special ceremony required to enter the temple, and no matter what religion you have, anyone only needs to take off their shoes and enter the temple, sit down and meditate and pray.New Delhi · 47.4km from Nan

Gandhi's Mausoleum is located on the banks of the Yamuna River in the east of New Delhi. This is actually a symbolic mausoleum, and Gandhi's remains are not buried. He was cremated here, and his ashes were scattered in the Ganges and the sea. In the middle of the Gandhi Mausoleum is a black marble mausoleum, which is elegant and solemn. Everyone needs to take off their shoes when going up to pay their respects. The front of the mausoleum is engraved with the Indian characters "Hi! Rama!", these are the two words Gandhi shouted when he fell to the ground. Rama is the incarnation of the Hindu god of protection.New Delhi · 46.6km from Nan

Chandni Chowk Market is located on a bustling commercial street in front of the Red Fort. Old Delhi's perpetually crowded Chandni Chowk has it all: noise, traffic jams, and arguments. In the small, unassuming shops along the street, you can find plenty of tempting delicacies, and, of course, McDonald's. During the heyday of the Mughal Empire, this was a quiet street filled with merchants and expensive residences, with a tree-shaded canal running through the center of the city. In the remaining, intricately carved havelis (traditional residences), you can still find traces of its former glory.New Delhi · 48.1km from Nan

Dargah Nizamuddin Aulia is located in a bustling market near Humayun's Tomb and is the mausoleum of the Sufi saint Nizamuddin Auliya. In addition, the tomb of Shah Jahan's daughter and the grave of the Urdu poet Ghalib are also located here. It is famous for its evening Qawwali performances, a type of Sufi devotional music sung by men and accompanied by instruments such as the dholak and harmonium, which is ethereal, enchanting, and truly magical.New Delhi · 48km from Nan

I appreciate the windows of India Gate the most. They are perfect stone carvings! They are shocking. The windows are carved at equal distances. Even if they are processed by modern machines, there will be a large error. But you know, these windows are so exquisite, at least visually, without any difference. It is really shocking.

Swaminarayan Akshardham (New Delhi) is a Hindu temple, and spiritual-cultural campus in New Delhi, India. The temple is close to the border with Noida. Also referred to as Akshardham Temple or Akshardham Delhi, the complex displays millennia of traditional and modern Hindu culture, spirituality, and architecture. Inspired by Yogiji Maharaj and created by Pramukh Swami Maharaj, it was constructed by BAPS.

A truly serene and beautiful spiritual gem in the heart of Delhi! The Bangla Sahib Gurudwara is stunning with its pristine white marble architecture, golden domes, and the peaceful Sarovar (holy pond) that reflects the entire complex beautifully. The entire place is exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which adds to the calm and devotional atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone seeking peace, history, or a spiritual visit in Delhi. Must-visit! The only minor downside is that it can get quite crowded, especially on weekends and evenings, but that’s understandable given its popularity.

The Lotus Temple is really a huge lotus-shaped building with a very rough design style. I don’t know the characteristics of this building. I have not entered the temple, but have only seen it from a distance. It is in line with the rough design style of Indians and is very representative.

This massive garden is a beautiful place to spend an evening! We went on a nice breezy day which made our outing even more mesmerising. The endless number of walkways, duck lake and picturesque pieces of monuments string a very happening outing all together. Click a bunch of pictures at this historical place and relax in the lap of nature.

The grass nearby is full of squirrels, and the sky is full of birds. Today is Sunday, and many Indians and their relatives and friends are having dinner, chatting, and playing on the grass. It's really pleasant! (I didn't have time to see the modern Lotus Temple.) I really admire the airline! The first time I took its flight, it was delayed by 2 hours when I arrived, and the return time was adjusted twice in advance. When I went to the airport to check in that night, they suddenly said that Guangzhou was foggy, and the take-off was postponed from 23:45 to 13:05 tomorrow. I was speechless!

Chandni Chowk has an old world charm. It has some of the most authentic restaurants in Delhi. It is fun to walk along the lanes and see many shops. Mirza galib's Haveli is also in Chandni Chowk. The recently remodeled Haveli is called Haveli Dharampura and it offers visitors an old Chandni Chowk experience. A dance show is also held with the Haveli as the backdrop. From jewellery to clothes, Chandni Chowk is a must-visit before a wedding. It has everything, from the raw materials for making Pooja to the final gorgeous outfits, Chandni Chowk is a treasure trove.

Hazrat nizamuddin aulia dargah is one of the peaceful places ever. One feels the vibe and inner peace there. All stress is relieved and removed. The atmosphere here is otherworldly as the nights are filled with prayers and trivialities. The scented crops are an attraction. A must visit place.

Tughlaqabad Fort is one of the finest specimens of pure Islamic architecture and has the touch of Sultanate sturdiness about its fortifications. Popular as one of the best-visited places in Delhi, the entire premise takes around an hour or two to look around and offer great opportunities for history enthusiasts and shutterbugs.
