Alona Beach

Alona Beach is a stretch of white sand beach extending nearly 1 km, flanked by low rocky cliffs at both ends and curving along the coast. The sand is white and fine, and the water near the shore is clear. With coral reefs distributed underwater, it is a popular spot for snorkeling and diving enthusiasts, where marine life such as corals, schools of tropical fish, and sea turtles can be observed. Departing from the beach by boat, you can head to nearby marine sanctuaries like Balicasag Island and Pamilacan Island for island hopping and scuba diving, or take a dolphin-watching tour. Daytime is suitable for walking on the beach and swimming, while the evening is a great time to watch the sunset. After dark, the restaurants and bars along the coast gradually become lively.
