Mui Ne Fishing Village
Mui Ne Fishing Village is a fishing port on the coast of Mui Ne, Phan Thiet, Vietnam, that is still in operation today. It is both a fishing village and an open, sandy beach. The bay has calm waters, and fishing boats of various sizes and colors are anchored there year-round. Looking out from the high ground on the shore, the dense cluster of boats looks like a handful of toys scattered on the water. You can also often see the round, woven bamboo basket boats unique to the coast of Vietnam along the beach, which create a very recognizable scene. Walk down the stone steps to the seaside, and you will be greeted by the sea breeze. To see the fishing village, you should go early: fishermen mostly go out to sea at night and return with full loads around sunrise. Fishing boats dock one after another, and the catch is spread directly on the beach for sorting and sale. Women are busy around baskets of fish and shrimp, and the entire beach becomes an open-air seafood morning market. Most of the catch is sold to nearby seafood stalls. Fairy Stream, Mui Ne
Fairy Stream, Mui Ne is a shallow stream that flows through Mui Ne, Phan Thiet, and eventually empties into the sea. It is said that it was once called Bamboo Stream, but today many travelers prefer to call it the Red Canyon of Mui Ne. Its entrance is quite inconspicuous, hidden at the end of a small alley, and you might miss it if you are not careful; passing through the entrance and walking upstream is where the real highlight of this trip lies. To explore this place, you need to wade upstream. The bottom of the stream is covered with fine, soft red sand and mud, which feels soft and smooth underfoot. The scenery on both sides of the valley offers a striking contrast: on one side are red and white rock walls, eroded by wind and rain over the years, with layers of rock stacked up, covered in spire-like sand pillars and strangely shaped grooves; on the other side are stretches of coconut groves and greenery. The deeper you go, the higher the rock walls and the more intense the colors. This is probably called a mud ditch in China, hahaha. But for Vietnam, which is not very developed and not very large, this is indeed a tourist attraction. And the red mud is still very local.

A quiet, peaceful spot perfect for a hot day. The place is secluded and off-the-beaten-path. Two ticket options are available, with three glasses or one glass of wine for the tasting, which is quite symbolic. The guide (English and Vietnamese only) will explain the obvious and well-known facts about wine production and offer takeaways. The surrounding area is beautiful, perfect for taking a few photos.
On a hot day, a cool castle with wine and interesting photo spots is a great way to while away the time.

Cham Towers is a very good site of the ancient Cham culture. The space of this place is also very huge. Cham Towers is a red brick and stone structure. This area is also quite large, with a lot of introductions about history.

I was very satisfied with my 3-day vacation at Hon Ba Lagi - Doi Duong resort. It has a long beach, a large room, a beautiful place, good restaurant.

Highly recommend this family-friendly park. There are several other parks nearby, including Nova Dream. I got there from Phan Thiet, and you definitely need a motorbike. The location is a bit remote, with no cell phone signal. However, the rides are absolutely fantastic, and the park is clean. There are no queues, and the staff even specially turned on the wave pool for us, so we could ride it all by ourselves. Most importantly, there were no queues for any of the rides; it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. It's much, much better than Dam Sen in Ho Chi Minh City.
