Aishan is located in the boundary of the two provinces of Sulu, ranking among the three famous mountains in northern Jiangsu, and is the same as Huaguo Mountain and Yunlong Mountain. Because the nine peaks are connected like nine dragons, the name is Jiulong Mountain. This mountain is the mountain of the ancient town of "Xiaguo", and it has been cast "Ai". It is also said that in the past 60 years, there was a god of love, and the local people called for the blessing, so it was called Aishan.Pizhou · 20.6km from downtown

Yaowan Ancient Town is a national 4A-level tourist Attraction located at the southwest edge of Xinyi City, at the intersection of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal and Luoma Lake. It is connected to the three cities and counties of Suqian, Suining and Pizhou. It is a nationally famous water town with a thousand-year history. It is known as "looking east to the sea, looking west to Pengcheng, looking south to Huaisi, and looking north to Taishan", "Golden Waterway Golden Triangle", "Northern Jiangsu Waters Better Than Jiangnan", and "Little Shanghai". Yaowan integrates ancient town landscape, waterscape, scenic spots and historical sites, and mythical wonderland, and has a high value for viewing, sightseeing and historical research. The thousand-year-old ancient town Yaowan has a long and splendid history and culture. According to historical records, this place was under the jurisdiction of Zhongwu State in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty. During the Qin and Han Dynasties, it was used as a kiln for military supplies. In the Tang Dynasty, it was located at the junction of Pizhou and Haizhou. Because there were many kilns Souvenir, it was called Yaowan. The thousand-year-old canal has hundreds of bays, and the golden section is in Yaowan; the thousand-year-old locust tree has witnessed the rise and fall of the ancient town Yaowan; the backyard sauce jar is carved with traces of the long years; the old-style buildings exude a strong cultural atmosphere. She is like Zhouzhuang in southern Jiangsu, with lakes and water, and connected by water networks; she is also like Pingyao in Shanxi, with ancient streets and alleys, and the culture has been passed down for thousands of years. Yaowan Ancient Town has a rich cultural and historical landscape. The ancient town was first built in the early Tang Dynasty. With the prosperity of the grain transport and salt industry in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, there were many shops, merchants, pedestrians on the streets, and boats on the water. In the ancient town, the city gates, towers, shops, courtyards, palaces, temples, and halls were built from the Song Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty. The ancient streets, houses, guild halls, workshops, businesses, warehouses, pawnshops, docks and other ancient town features still basically remain.Xinyi · 19.5km from Pizhou

In the southeast of Zaozhuang City, Taierzhuang Ancient City is located in the central belt of the last section of the Grand Canal. It is a famous water town north of the Yangtze and an ancient canal city. The ancient city was demolished in the 1938 Battle of Taierzhuang. The old city seen today is a reconstruction, with many scenic spots reconstructed on their original sites. However, the city still retains many remnants of its history as a battlefield. Taierzhuang incorporates eight different architectural styles so that visitors can experience both the style of southern Shandong and the folk customs of north Jiangsu. You can't go wrong by taking a stroll among the quiet lanes, catching boat rides on the Grand Canal, or watching an exciting folk performance.Zaozhuang · 32.6km from Pizhou

The Ginkgo Time Tunnel is about 3 kilometers long. The ginkgo trees on both sides of the road are lush and leafy, and the canopies intersect like a tunnel, which can be viewed all year round. Especially every autumn and winter, the tunnel is gorgeous and golden, and the ground is covered with fallen leaves. Many photographers come to take pictures with long guns and short cannons. The best viewing time for the Ginkgo Time Tunnel is in early and mid-November. The viewing point is at the north and south ends of the road or in the middle. You can use a telephoto to take a large depth of field.Pizhou · 23.6km from downtown

Crowned as "The King of the Five Sacred Mountains", Mount Tai has been one of China's most famous mountain peaks since ancient times. A large and impressive rock mass covering 25,000 ha and rising to 1,545 m above the surrounding plateau, Mount Taishan is considered one of the most beautiful scenic spots in China and was an important cradle of oriental East Asian culture since the earliest times. Watching the sunrise and catching the spectacular sea of clouds are common activities that visitors engage in. You are also encouraged to explore the ancient sites, engravings, and religious temples to understand the role of Mount Tai in China's long history.China · Tai'an

The Tsingtao Beer Museum is located at No. 56 Dengzhou Road, the birthplace of Tsingtao beer. This century-old factory, housed in a 1903 German-style industrial complex, witnesses China's beer industry journey from its infancy to prominence. As China's first beer-themed model for industrial heritage revitalization, the museum transforms weathered red-brick workshops into immersive spaces using precious early equipment like old motors, mash kettles, and boiling kettles. Visitors walking through the century-old memory corridor can touch over 30,000 artifacts from the German occupation era while overlooking the smart production lines of the "lighthouse factory" through glass walls. Through the dialogue between traditional wooden fermentation tanks and fully automated filling equipment, they decode the evolution of Chinese manufacturing from artisanal heritage to digital transformation. With the innovative concept of "living heritage + technological empowerment," the museum breaks free from the static display constraints of industrial sites. The VR brewing lab allows visitors to become brewers adjusting malt ratios, while the hop recognition system decodes the scientific secrets behind beer flavors. Personalized beer label printing customizes brews, turning taste into portable urban memories. This cultural landmark, bearing Qingdao's industrial DNA, not only showcases its benchmark value in cultural-tourism integration through honors like "national first-class museum" and "China's top 10 cultural heritage tourism cases," but also injects more sustainable vitality into the century-old factory by being selected as a "national cultural industry demonstration base." It continues to brew the city's cultural richness from industrial heritage amid the tides of time.China · Qingdao

"In March when flowers bloom, head to Yangzhou." When visiting Yangzhou in spring, a trip to Slender West Lake is a must. This narrow stretch of waterway offers the perfect blend of natural beauty and cultural heritage. Stroll along the banks to admire scenic views, explore historic pavilions adorned with classical poetry and paintings, or cruise the lake by boat to experience the leisurely pleasure Emperor Qianlong once enjoyed during his royal visits. The attraction is quite expansive, stretching from the Great Rainbow Bridge in the southeast all the way north along the lake to Guanyin Mountain, passing dozens of attractions along the way. There are four main entrances (east, south, west, and north), with most visitors starting their tour at the south entrance on Great Rainbow Bridge Road. This renowned lakeside garden boasts breathtaking natural views. In spring, the area is shaded by lush willows and adorned with camellias, pomegranates, azaleas, and peach blossoms, attracting visitors from across the country to enjoy the seasonal blooms. For centuries, countless literati have lingered here, composing poetry and creating paintings that left behind numerous artistic treasures and stories. The site also features many landscape structures ingeniously designed to harmonize with its natural surroundings. The Five Pavilion Bridge in Shugang Slender West Lake Scenic Area is the iconic attraction with over 200 years of history. Featuring five wind pavilions atop, each of the bridge's fifteen arches cradles a moon during full moon nights. Another renowned attraction is the Twenty-Four Bridge, inspired by Du Mu's poetic line "Where is the jade-like beauty teaching flute-playing on the moonlit Twenty-Four Bridge?" While the original bridge no longer exists, visitors can admire its reconstructed version today. This was also a stop during Emperor Qianlong's southern tours in the Qing Dynasty. Architectural views like the Great Rainbow Bridge, Slender West Lake Scenic Area's Fishing Terrace, White Pagoda, and the Twenty-Four Bridges' Xichun Platform all bear inseparable historical anecdotes connected to Emperor Qianlong. During summer nights, the illuminated pavilions and moonlit reflections on the lake create a magical atmosphere. The nightlife experience here is entirely boat-based, offering a relaxing way to beat the summer heat while enjoying gentle lake breezes.China · Yangzhou

Baotu Spring is located in the bustling downtown area of Jinan, bordered by Qianfo Mountain to the south, Daming Lake attraction to the north, and connected to Quancheng Square to the east. This spring-themed garden is renowned as the "No. 1 spring under heaven" and ranks first among Jinan's "72 famous springs," with a history spanning over 2,000 years. It has also frequently appeared in literary works, most notably in Lao She's "Baotu Spring." Visitors come here to witness the spectacular sight of the three gushing springs. The main spring serves as the park's centerpiece, with its crystal-clear water gushing in three separate jets day and night, reaching several feet high during peak flow. The spring is surrounded by large stone masonry and guardrails, allowing visitors to overlook the spectacular sight of the three jets from the railings. A dark green stone tablet inscribed with "No. 1 spring" stands nearby, bearing the calligraphy of Licheng's Wang Zhonglin from the Tongzhi era of the Qing Dynasty. In the vicinity, over thirty other famous springs are scattered, including Jinxian Spring, Shuyu Spring, Xibo Spring, Liuxu Spring, Huanghua Spring, Dukang Spring, and Bailong Spring. July and August, when local rainfall is abundant, make for the best season to observe these springs. In the height of summer, visitors can get up close with the springs in the park. Some springs have no railings around them, with stone paths in the pools where water flows over. Visitors can step into the pools to interact with the water, walking on the stone paths where their feet will get wet from the cool spring water. Besides water interaction, there are free drinking springs available for visitors by the pools. On the east side of the springs stands the Wangheting teahouse, specially catering to visitors. This springFragrant tea brewed with water at a moderate price. In addition to the springs, another highlight of the park is its magnificent south gate, adorned with grandeur and elegance. The horizontal plaque above the gate, inscribed with "Baotu Spring" in golden characters on a blue background, bears the imperial handwriting of Emperor Qianlong from the Qing Dynasty. It is acclaimed as the "first gate" of Chinese classical gardens. In previous years, seasonal water stoppages frequently occurred here, but through recent conservation efforts, normal water levels have been largely restored. Additionally, the attraction regularly hosts various cultural events. Every year on the first day of the lunar new year, a lantern festival is held for 20 days. In late September, there's a spring water culture festival lasting about 10 days, featuring folk activities, calligraphy and painting exhibitions, and traditional opera performances for visitors to enjoy. From late October to late November, a chrysanthemum exhibition takes place where the golden fall scenery of gushing springs and blooming chrysanthemums creates a spectacular sight well worth seeing. In addition, the attraction has launched a cruise route. After visiting the attraction, interested visitors can board the cruise at the dock, passing through the west gate bridge in Jinan's old town, the east gate of Wulongtan Park, and entering Wulongtan Lock, Jinan's first passenger ship lock in history, where they can experience a drop of over 2 m. Sitting on the east side of the boat, visitors can also see the relief of "Jinan's eight scenic views". The riverbanks along the route are lined with aquatic plants, and the water is crystal clear. The cruise finally passes through Yanbo Bridge and enters the Daming Lake attraction.China · Jinan

Aishan Scenic Area is like a bright pearl hidden in Zaozhuang, Shandong. When you first arrive here, you will be attracted by its unique natural scenery. Driving to the scenic area, the road is shaded by trees and the scenery is pleasant. After arriving, climb up the winding mountain road and find that the strangely shaped rocks are scattered on both sides of the road, like the magic of nature. Climbing to the top of the mountain, looking far away, the surrounding mountains are rolling and shrouded in clouds and mist, like a fairyland. The strange stones in Aishan Scenic Area are one of its major features. They are like ancient beasts crouching or immortals playing chess, with various shapes and lifelike. The most spectacular one is the "Stone Forest Maze". Being in it, it seems to have entered a fantasy world of stone. Walking in the scenic area, the ancient trees are towering, and the birdsong in the forest is endless, adding a bit of tranquility and mystery. In a quiet valley, a hidden underground canyon was also discovered. The stalactites in the canyon were upside down, and the streams were gurgling, forming a natural underground painting. Aishan not only has natural wonders, but also rich cultural landscapes. Longshun Temple, Dasheng Temple and other ancient monuments carry a heavy historical and cultural heritage for tourists to explore and feel. The teahouse on the mountainside is also unique. Tasting local special snacks and feeling the mountain tea rhyme are leisurely and comfortable. The only slight shortcoming is that the facilities in some areas of the scenic area are slightly old, the signs are not clear enough, the scale of the tourist service center is small, and the services provided are limited. But overall, Aishan Scenic Area, with its unique natural landscape and profound cultural heritage, has brought me an unforgettable visual feast and spiritual journey.

This town is located east of Xuzhou and is currently undergoing expansion. There aren't many tourists, probably because there's an entrance fee. It's okay to stop by for a quick visit, but not worth making a special trip for.

This ancient canal town has a rich history, but the scenic area doesn't quite showcase that history well enough; it feels somewhat superficial. The scenery is quite nice, but the ticket price is really expensive for tourists from other places, making it not very cost-effective.

The Time Tunnel, located in the suburbs of Pizhou, is a scenic spot formed by ginkgo trees in the golden autumn season. There is a small service area here, which is basically only open in autumn. The scenic area provides camping tents, catering and related facilities. In the golden autumn season, the place is golden and the ginkgo trees are arranged like a dreamy time tunnel. However, have you ever seen the time tunnel in winter? The rows of ginkgo trees, with fallen leaves all over the ground, still have a kind of withered bone beauty.

The Tsingtao Beer Museum is worth a visit when travelling to Qingdao. The explanations were great and informative, giving us a better understanding of the history and brewing process of Tsingtao Beer. However, the museum was very crowded, and some visitors were rather rude, pushing and rushing ahead instead of queuing properly. This made the experience less enjoyable and reflected a lack of consideration for others.Overall, it is an interesting attraction and worth visiting once if you are in Qingdao. Just be prepared for the crowds, especially during busy travel periods.

The scenic area boasts pavilions, towers, bridges, and flowing water, creating a beautiful landscape. Weeping willows sway along the lake, and the lake water ripples gently. Attractions such as the Five Pavilion Bridge, Xu Garden, and the Twenty-Four Bridges each have their own unique features. I also enjoyed watching the live performance "More Than Just March in Yangzhou," which is highly recommended and deserves praise.

We accompanied a family member to Qilu Hospital for a medical appointment and chose this Ji Hotel. It's very close to the hospital, less than a ten-minute walk, which is very convenient. The room was clean and tidy, and the environment was quiet, allowing for a good rest. There's also a laundry and fitness area. The front desk was responsive, and check-in was smooth, making it ideal for accompanying family members to medical appointments. Most importantly, parking is convenient.

The biggest surprise of my trip to Xuzhou was undoubtedly the Guishan Han Tomb, absolutely worth a special trip. The ancients carved this Chu king's mausoleum into the mountainside, a feat of engineering that is truly astonishing. The long, straight, and orderly passageway, with its tightly joined stones, showcases the superb craftsmanship of the Han Dynasty artisans. The tomb chambers are clearly divided into functional areas, and the dense chisel marks on the stone walls are all imprints left from two thousand years ago. The guide's engaging explanations of the tomb's occupant's story and the fascinating legends surrounding the stone walls' illusions keep the experience entertaining. A visit to the Imperial Edict Museum is also included, with its impressive collection. The overall tour is of moderate length and not too tiring; history buffs shouldn't miss this place.
