Canada Place is a Vancouver landmark located in downtown Vancouver. Formerly a terminal for the Canadian Pacific Railway, construction began in 1983 and opened in 1986 as the Canadian Pavilion at the Vancouver World Expo. Designed by Eberhard Rudler, the building's distinctive design features five fiberglass sails atop a ship, resembling a sailing ship and bearing similarities to the Sydney Opera House. Within, the complex serves as a major cruise terminal for British Columbia's South Shore, departing from here for cruises to Alaska. As a vibrant tourist destination integrating leisure, experiences, and services, it boasts numerous must-see attractions. "Flyover Canada," Canada's only 4D flight simulator, offers visitors an immersive experience of flying across Canada.Canada · Vancouver

Gastown is located in the northeast corner of downtown Vancouver and is the city's birthplace. The city's development here was closely linked to late 19th-century port trade and railway construction, and the neighborhood retains many historic buildings from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Buildings along the street are mostly brick and stone, with common Victorian Italianate and Edwardian commercial architecture. Facades are typically narrow and tall, with shops often occupying the ground floor. Street paving, cast-iron decorative lamps, brick buildings, and street-facing shop windows together create a recognizable urban view.Canada · Vancouver

Victoria’s Inner Harbour

4.3/5
65 reviews
Victoria’s Inner Harbour is a waterfront living room that opens the entire city to the bay. During the day, it feels more like an open-air stage, with street performers often entertaining on the waterfront promenade, colorful water taxis shuttling between docks, seaplanes frequently taking off and landing just above the water, and most whale-watching tours departing from this harbor. You can take a water taxi to nearby docks to see houseboats and seals, or take a ride in a British-style sightseeing carriage for a leisurely loop around the harbor. Whether you want to admire the architecture, wait for the night view, or just relax in the sea breeze, there is something for everyone here. It is also a window into the British charm of Victoria.Canada · Victoria
Granville Island

Granville Island

281 reviews
Granville Island was once an industrial manufacturing area filled with factories and warehouses. After its transformation, it has become a waterfront district that brings together food, art, and handicrafts. Today, the island is home to numerous artist studios, galleries, theaters, and marinas. The rugged character of the old industrial buildings blends with the vibrant atmosphere of creative shops, and the laid-back pace perfectly reflects the local Vancouver lifestyle. There is a public house on the island serving small-batch craft brews that you can only find here, so if you get tired from walking, why not sit down and savor one. Taking a small ferry from downtown to the island is an interesting experience in itself, as the trip across the water takes just a few minutes.Canada · Vancouver

Legislative Assembly of British Columbia is both the seat of the British Columbia legislature and a popular landmark. Designed by architect Francis Rattenbury, construction began in 1893 and was completed in 1897. The gray andesite facade, stretching over 100m, combined with the central dome and pavilions at both ends, presents a grand style that blends Neo-Baroque and Romanesque Revival architecture; atop the dome stands a golden statue of the navigator George Vancouver, which, along with the bronze statue of Queen Victoria on the lawn in front, creates a classic photo opportunity for visitors.Canada · Victoria

Chinatown is one of the oldest and largest in Canada, formed in the 1880s when Chinese workers settled in the area, and it has continued for over a century. The main street, Pender Street, is lined with dense, old-style buildings, and walking through it creates the illusion of being in a traditional South China market street. Most buildings in the area are two to four stories high, arranged closely along the street, and interspersed with alleys, back lanes, and internal courtyards. The architecture generally features a blend of Chinese and Western styles, with notable features including deep-recessed balconies, strong vertical lines, high-ceilinged ground floors, and mezzanines.Canada · Vancouver

Strolling beneath the white sail-shaped roofs of Canada Place, I felt like I was sailing in the harbor! The five-sail building reflecting the shimmering waters of the bay was so stunning that I couldn't help but snap a dozen photos from different angles. Walking along the wooden walkway, watching seaplanes take off and land and seagulls fight over fries was truly captivating. I also stopped by the FlyOver Canada experience center, where the 4D flight simulator over the snow-capped mountains was incredibly realistic! The evening sun painted the harbor a molten hue. I sat on the steps, munching on ice cream and watching the cruise ships arrive and depart, lost in thought for an hour. My only complaint was the strong wind that tangled my hair—but that's Vancouver's effortless charm, huh?

Gastown has many pretty stores and cafes.but there are lots of homeless wandering around this area. Don’t walk around at late night. When you keep following down the Water street, you can see the steam clock and lots of designer’s stores and beautiful brunch cafes.

Lake Okinagan is located in Kirona, not far from Vancouver. The lake scenery here is very beautiful, especially in summer, which attracts a large number of tourists. Winter here is not very cold in Canada, and lakes generally do not freeze. Legend has it that water monsters live in the lake. If you have the privilege of taking pictures of water monsters, you can get huge bonuses. Kirona itself is also a city worth visiting and suitable for life. There are many delicious restaurants here. It's worth recommending.
