The Palais des Festivals (Palais des Festivals de Cannes) was built in 1982 and is an important meeting place for the Cannes Film Festival. The Palais des Festivals has a capacity of 30,000 people, excellent sound facilities, and besides being the official venue of the festival, it also contains many business conference halls. It is said that the carpet on the steps of the Palais des Festivals is red only when there is an event, and blue at other times. So if you come across a festival, don't forget to take pictures on the steps covered with red carpets to experience the taste of being a star. Visitors still have a better chance of seeing a red carpet than a blue one, as the Palais des Festivals is not idle for most of the year. Every year, there is the Acacia Festival in February, the International Film Festival in May, and the Music Festival and Fireworks Festival in July. In addition, there are fixed festivals such as the International Boat Festival, the International Music and Record Festival, the Mimosa Festival, and the Dance Festival. Under such a dense schedule, if you want to use the Palais des Festivals, you need to book two years in advance.Cannes · 24.5km from Saint-Raphael

There are far fewer handprints in Cannes than on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the United States, but you can find director Wong Kar-wai's handprint on the Cannes Walk of Fame, right at the entrance of the Cannes convention center. It features the three English letters WKW, which are the initials of Wong Kar-wai's name in Cantonese pinyin.Cannes · 24.5km from Saint-Raphael

Santa Maria delle Grazie is located in the west of Milan, on the south side of the Sforza Castle. This red Catholic building consists of a church and a Dominican monastery. It is famous for the fresco "The Last Supper" by Leonardo da Vinci in the monastery's refectory. It was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1980. . The Last Supper "The Last Supper" was created by Leonardo da Vinci in the 15th century, using innovative and bold painting techniques combining oil and tempera, creating a unique perspective effect, but also easily eroded. On August 15, 1943, the church and the congregation were bombed by British and American aircraft, and most of the canteen of the congregation was destroyed, but the wall on which The Last Supper was located survived. Centuries later, 80 percent of the painting's colors had faded, and restoration work began in 1977 and continued for 22 years. At present, the number of visitors is strictly controlled, and the number of visitors cannot exceed 30 at a time. In addition to the "Last Supper", the church building itself is also worth seeing. The church was built under the auspices of Duke Sforzesco and was finally completed in 1490. It was once used as the tomb of the Sforzesco family. Later, when the French invaded, the cultural relics and treasures in the church were looted, but the exquisite dome and frescoes were still preserved. The sacristy is now the Dominican cultural center, and often holds some salons and art exhibitions.Italy · Milan

Landmark Significance: As the city center of Milan, the square is an irregularly shaped polygon covering approximately 12,000 square meters. It was the coronation site of the first king after the unification of Italy (Napoleon was crowned here in 1805) and is now part of a World Heritage Site.

The Film Palace is famous for the Cannes Film Festival. I saw it on TV and thought it was very grand, but when I actually got there, I was a little disappointed. It was not during the film festival, and the Film Palace looked very plain and small. The red carpet road only took 2 minutes to walk, and the surrounding area was not very big.

When talking about Cannes, the first thing that comes to mind is the red carpet and the movie palace. However, the actual movie red carpet palace is not very big. It looks particularly big every year when there are no cameras and tourists! In Cannes without a film festival, the red carpet is a market, a place for people to communicate!

A Winter's Glow Over the Bay of Angels The winter glow of Nice is a visual feast not to be missed. At dawn, the Bay of Angels is covered with a thin layer of snow, its fine white sand and pebble beaches half pure white and half deep black. As the first rays of sunlight pierce through the clouds, the entire bay is instantly bathed in a warm orange-gold hue, the sea shimmering like it's been sprinkled with diamonds. The colorful old buildings, illuminated by the glow and snow, take on an oil painting-like quality. Warm yellow walls and pale pink roofs appear even more gentle under the snow, while the silhouettes of palm trees are outlined with graceful lines in the golden light. The waves gently lap against the shore, creating a soft, pattering sound, and together with the snow-covered Castle Hill in the distance, a breathtaking scene. This romance is not always available; the once-in-a-decade snowfall and the perfectly timed glow combine to create this uniquely Mediterranean gentleness. Standing on the streets of Anglo-Saxon, watching the golden sunlight gradually melt the snow, you'll understand that Nice's winter is more worthwhile than you might imagine.
