The Sultanate Palace of Yogyakarta is the cultural center of this charming city of Yogyakarta. This is a nearly 250-year-old Forbidden City located in the center of Yogyakarta. Designed and built by Gu Buvorno I. The unique feature of the Forbidden City is that Indonesia allows the original royal family to continue to live in the palace, and the servants used in the palace still wear ancient clothes. The current residence in the palace is the Sultan of Harmeng Bwono X, whose father, Harmeng Bwono IX, was the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia in the past. There are more than 20 sets of gamelan musical instruments in the palace. There are two sets of older gamelan musical instruments in the palace, one set is the relic of the Majapachet Dynasty, and the other set comes from the Tammu Kingdom. There is a room dedicated to the collection of shadow puppets in the palace, and many puppets are kept in it. Every Friday, many Javanese come here to offer flowers, and some even sleep in the garage, hoping that the soul of the past king will descend upon him and receive his spiritual guidance.

Prambanan is a very magnificent Hindu temple in Indonesia. It has been damaged by many volcanoes and earthquakes. There are more than 50 temple ruins. Prambanan was built in the 8th to 10th centuries AD, about the same era as Angkor Wat in Cambodia, and has many similarities in architectural form and sculptural themes. The temple has three-story courtyards. Most of the buildings on the outer two floors are in ruins. Only the inner layer preserves several temples. The three magnificent main temples are dedicated to Shiva, Brahma and Vishnu, and the other three small temples are respectively. Enshrined in their mounts divine bull, divine goose and condor. Like Borobudur, Prambanan Temple is also built of volcanic rock, and the walls are covered with exquisite reliefs, but its content is mostly based on the Indian epic "Ramayana". Compared with Angkor Wat, although the same story is told, the artistic style and characters are quite different.

The Water Palace is located in the southwest of the Sultan's Palace in Yogyakarta. It is a complex of canals, ponds and palaces. It used to be the palace's luxury entertainment park, swimming pools and waterways for the Sultan and his entourage to travel. This elaborate retreat was built between 1758 and 1765 by a Portuguese architect. The Yogyakarta Memorial, standing in the Jetis area in northern Yogyakarta, commemorates the historical memory of the Indonesian War of Independence with a pure white cone-shaped building complex. The three-story structure of the main building implies philosophical symbolism, and the top observation deck can overlook the city and the outline of Mount Merapi. The internal circular gallery displays black and white photos, manuscripts and military remains, and some scenes restore the actual operation of the provisional government in the 1940s. The underground exhibition room presents the city's defense system as a temporary capital during the war through multimedia installations and physical models. The palace here isn't particularly opulent, but it does retain some historical relics. Because it's still in use, there are many restrictions on photography, and some areas are inaccessible. Overall, it's still worth a visit.

Visiting Prambanan Temple was one of the most memorable experiences of my journey in Indonesia. As I approached the temple complex, I was immediately amazed by the grandeur of its towering structures and the intricate carvings that adorned the ancient stones. The beauty of the place reflects not only the artistic skills of the people who built it but also their deep religious devotion and rich cultural heritage.What made the experience unique was the opportunity to witness a historical and sacred place that has stood for centuries. Walking around the temple complex allowed me to appreciate the stories, beliefs, and traditions passed down through generations. Saya ke sana naik becak dari sekitar keraton 22ribu sudah termasuk taman sari, toko pia, toko batik.Buka setiap hari jam 9 sampai jam 3 sore.tiket masuk murah untuk turis domestik.Disarankan bawa topi dan kipas karena panas sekalu.
