Anjihai Grand Canyon

Anjihai Grand Canyon has been carved over the years by the Anjihai River, which originates in the Tianshan Mountains. With nearly vertical cliffs and a valley depth of up to hundreds of meters, standing on the edge and looking down reveals several canyons converging beneath your feet, as if you were suspended high in the sky looking down at the earth. The area is defined by its colors: ochre, dark cyan, grayish-purple, and dark green rock layers interweave on the cliff walls, with red mountains, dark cliffs, green peaks, green islands, and clear water complementing each other like a colorful ribbon spread out at the foot of the northern slope of the Tianshan Mountains. On both sides, multi-level river terraces are arranged from top to bottom, resembling terraced fields, and the braided river at the bottom of the valley splits into several winding channels, which, when viewed from above, look like an abstract painting of the earth.Shawan · 48.3km from downtown

As one of the oldest and only remaining Russian-style buildings in Tacheng, the Red House has a history of nearly a hundred years. At present, it is the office land of Tacheng Newspaper Office, and it is an autonomous region-level cultural relics protection unit. The Red House was built in the second year of Xuantong in the Qing Dynasty, that is, in 1910, by the Tatar businessman Remazan Kanyshev, who was originally from Russia. It covers an area of 885 square meters and is divided into upper and lower floors. There are 16 large and small houses in total. The ceiling floor, iron roof, door frame and window lattice are all built with exquisite patterns. The walls facing the street are all light red, so people call it "Red House". After the red building was completed and put into use, Remazan Kanyshev operated a large number of local specialties and import and export trade here, becoming the center of Tacheng import and export trade at that time, and many businesses from Dihua (Urumqi) also came here to open their doors. agency. In 1933, Sheng Shicai arrested Remazan Kanyshev on trumped-up charges, and the red building was confiscated and turned into a hospital; later the red building was returned to the original owner. Soon after the son of Remazan Kannyshev took over the Red House, he donated it and still used it as a hospital. Later, the red building was successively converted into the office building of the regional administrative agency, the guest house, and the office building of the agricultural department of the administrative agency. In 1985, the Red Building was designated as the office space of the Tacheng Newspaper. In recent years, many domestic film and television directors have made a special trip to Tacheng and put it on the screen, allowing hundreds of millions of viewers to see its style, and many foreign tourists who come to Tacheng will also come here to visit.Tacheng City · 589m from downtown

I will use an immersive travel perspective to depict the interwoven scenery of snow-capped mountains, spruce trees, grasslands, and streams at Lujiaowan, incorporating my travel experiences and reflections to create a vivid travelogue. A Rendezvous with the Tianshan Mountains: The Enchanting Lujiaowan I've always longed to visit the grasslands of Xinjiang. Avoiding the bustling tourist hotspots, I traveled to Lujiaowan, nestled at the northern foot of the Tianshan Mountains, and only then did I understand what a hidden gem in the mountains truly is. This land, named after the Tianshan deer that inhabit it year-round and whose antlers are scattered there, blends snow-capped mountains, spruce trees, grasslands, and streams into a vibrant natural painting, hiding the most healing and gentle mountain charm. Driving westward, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the scenery gradually came alive. Upon entering the scenic area, a refreshing breeze carrying the scents of grass, pine resin, and the coolness of the snow-capped mountains instantly dispelled the fatigue of the journey. Looking into the distance, the continuous Tianshan Mountains stretch to the horizon, their main peak, Habiga Mountain, perpetually capped with snow, gleaming under the clear sky, both serene and magnificent. Below, layers of dark green spruce forests wind their way along the mountain slopes, their rugged grandeur adding a touch of profound poetry to the vast wilderness. Below lies an endless alpine meadow, a soft, delicate emerald carpet of green carpet stretching to the foot of the snow-capped mountains in the height of summer. Wildflowers dot the grass, swaying gently in the breeze, their subtle fragrance filling the air. Crystal-clear snowmelt streams meander through the meadows, their babbling waters sweet and refreshing—a gift of life from the Tianshan Mountains. Low-hanging blue skies and white clouds seem almost within reach, large, drifting clouds casting dappled shadows across the grasslands—a vast and serene expanse of sky and earth. As the wind rustles through the low-lying grass, cattle and sheep graze leisurely, their white flocks resembling scattered snowflakes on the clouds. Powerful horses gallop and roam freely. In the distance, Kazakh yurts dot the landscape, wisps of smoke rising slowly from their chimneys, and the faint sounds of herdsmen's laughter can be heard. Occasionally, the sound of horses' hooves echoes across the grassland, carrying the purest scent of the mountains and fields. Eagles soar freely in the vast sky, their graceful forms adding a touch of dynamism and grandeur to this tranquil wilderness. Wandering through the mountains and fields of Deer Horn Bay, there's no need to chase after the scenery; every step is a surprise. You can lazily lie on the soft grassy slopes, watching the clouds drift by, listening to the wind rustling through the leaves and the babbling brook; you can ride a horse across the grassland, immersing yourself in the magnificent wind blowing across the mountains; or sit quietly by the stream, enjoying the tranquil peace of the wilderness. Here, there are no crowds, only gentle breezes, green grass, snow-capped mountains, and clear skies. All anxieties and restlessness are soothed by the gentle embrace of this mountain wilderness. Lujiaowan at dusk holds an unparalleled romance. The setting sun casts its golden rays across the mountains, bathing the snow-capped peaks in a soft, golden-red hue. The vibrant green grasslands lose their bright luster, fading into a warm, gentle hue. The colors of heaven and earth gradually shift, creating a scene both tender and healing. As the evening breeze cools, the grass and trees sway gently, and the mountains and fields return to tranquility, leaving only the purest sounds of nature. The most beautiful scenery is never found in crowded, trendy tourist spots, but in the free and pure wilderness of Lujiaowan. It possesses the majestic grandeur of the Tianshan Mountains, the gentle vitality of the grasslands, the poetic beauty of mountains and forests, and the rustic charm of pastoral life. A trip to Lujiaowan is a rendezvous with a hidden gem of the Tianshan Mountains.

Tacheng Red House Museum was a must-go place when I was in primary school. Hahahaha, I didn't take any photos or pictures at that time. More than 50 years have passed, and now there are too many changes. I now have a camera or a mobile phone to take pictures of the good times. Below is my angle of shooting the changes of the Red House. How about it? If you have time, you are welcome to check in at the Tacheng Red House Museum in my hometown. [Scenery] Unique

Hashilegen Pass, located on the Duku Highway in Xinjiang, is a key pass in the Tianshan Mountains, reaching an altitude of approximately 3,390 meters. Known for its perpetual snow and precipitous terrain, it is known as the "Glacier Pass." Its iconic Hashilegen Tunnel, once a snow corridor, is a true wonder of the highway. As a crucial thoroughfare connecting northern and southern Xinjiang, this pass is not only a geographical dividing line but also a highlight of the Duku Highway, offering magnificent snow-capped mountain scenery and a unique driving experience, allowing visitors to experience the changing seasons in a single day.

Barruk Mountain is not so flamboyant; its grassy slopes undulate gently with the terrain, dotted with scattered wildflowers. Trails lead into the forest, where you can hear birdsong and occasionally spot a few squirrels. At the foot of the mountain, there are Kazakh herders' guesthouses, where the aroma of milk tea and naan mingles with the scent of grass and trees—a truly down-to-earth experience.
