Things to do in Urubamba

I found that you can see some very simple but very shocking buildings here. These buildings are made of huge stones piled up tightly together, which is quite good considering the technology at that time.

The museum is not very big, but it basically introduces everything about the history and preservation of Inca culture. It was very helpful for us to go to Machu Picchu the next day, and we would not just look at the scenery stupidly.

This is the destination of Route 1-C at the Machu Picchu ruins. We entered the ruins a little after 7 am and slowly climbed for about an hour and a half. It was quite strenuous. The view of the ruins changed as we ascended, and the scenery was spectacular. Perhaps because of the time of day, there were hardly any people around, and at the Gate of the Sun, a caretaker took pictures for us and gave us a tour. Since this route is only accessible during the dry season, I highly recommend it.
