M22***13The Slender West Lake in the rain has a unique charm. The poem "The wind blows, the clouds move, but the sky remains still; the water pushes, the boats move, but the shore remains still" kept echoing in my mind. The misty rain created a tranquil atmosphere; I was simply enjoying nature, appreciating the greenery, listening to the rain, and watching the black swans glide on the water. Everything felt peaceful and serene.

Anonymous userNanjing Confucius Temple is located on Gongyuan Street on the north bank of the Qinhuai River in Qinhuai District, Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, China, west of Jiangnan Gongyuan. It is located in the core area of the Nanjing Confucius Temple-Qinhuai River Scenic Belt. It is also known as Nanjing Confucius Temple, Nanjing Confucian Temple, and Wenxuanwang Temple. It is a place dedicated to Confucius and is China's first national highest institution of learning, one of China's four major Confucian temples, a hub of ancient Chinese culture, and a gathering place for the history and culture of Jinling. It was not only the cultural and educational center of Nanjing during the Ming and Qing dynasties, but also the most prestigious cultural and educational architectural complex in the southeastern provinces.

Anonymous userWe went at night, and it was so cold. There was also water mist spraying inside the park. I highly recommend that anyone going in winter dress warmly. The combination of the iron-stunt performance and the fireworks/drone show was quite nice, but I personally thought the iron-stunt performance was better. There seemed to be very few staff members. After watching the iron-stunt performance, I wanted to get to the next area, but I could only follow the crowd and couldn't find any staff to ask for help.

爱旅行的仙仙女Arriving in Suzhou, passing through Changmen Gate, you'll find yourself at Shantang Street, an ancient street with a history of over a thousand years, famous for the Shantang River, which was dug by Bai Juyi. Shantang Street retains architecture from the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China era, exuding the rich charm of a Jiangnan water town. Suzhou is a city that embodies half of Jiangnan's poetic beauty! If you have ample time, I recommend taking your time to experience it. The scenery changes with the time of day, offering different views at different times. This is a newly opened photo spot on Shantang Street. It's not very large, with a Republic of China style. It's a great place for taking pictures.

Shirley1016Ge Garden truly lives up to its reputation as one of the four most famous gardens in China. Although it's not large, the design of its pavilions and towers is classic and rivals that of Jiangnan gardens. Despite its small size, it's very meticulously designed. We happened to catch a tour group explaining its features, which allowed us to truly appreciate its exquisite details. The Taihu stone with the character "月" (moon), the glazed tiles, and the stone carvings depicting the four seasons—it must be even more beautiful in spring. Before leaving, you can pick up some Yangzhou University's famous yogurt from Dongguan Street to take home! 😉

M50***21It's free. If you want to take a walk, go to Zhanqiao Pier; if you want to watch the sunrise, go to the Sunset Stairs, where there are large photo frames for taking beautiful pictures. If you want to see the musical fountain, go to Suzhou Center, right below the Gate to the Orient; it's very beautiful, and even more comfortable in summer.

M30***20Before coming, I did some research, but my understanding was limited to that the Great Bao'en Temple was built by Emperor Zhu Di of the Ming Dynasty to repay a debt of gratitude. With the teacher's explanation, I gained a deeper understanding of the story here and the spread of Buddhist culture in China.

M71***63On New Year's Day, we took the kids on a journey to the West. Since we arrived at the park at 3 pm, we had to join the nighttime park event. The kids' favorite part was the grand finale performance, which included a parade of floats, traditional iron flower making, a drone light show, and a fireworks display!

M16***54It was really great! The cruise ship had a fantastic feel to it, perfect for taking elderly people on trips. The overall design of the show, the light show, and the performances were all perfectly coordinated. 😄 It would be even better if the ticket price were a little cheaper! 👍🏻
