Meanwhile chaotic, it is the best place to experience the hustle and bustle in Accra. You can get very cheap goods there and it’s interesting for travelers to see the market.
Makola market is the biggest market in Accra. If you want to experience a local’s life, go to Makola market for a thrifting experience!

Nkrumah was the first president of Ghana. He guided Ghana's independence movement and is said to be the father of the African independence movement. A Marxist. In 1958, the African Union Association, consisting of Ghana and Guinea, was established. "Kwame Nkrumah", the father of African independence. As the first country to gain independence during the climax of the African anti-colonial movement in the 1950s, Ghana has a prominent position in the modern history of Africa. Nkrumah is not only the father of Ghana's independence, but also a political representative of the African continent.
When I visited this place, I didn't know that the entrance to the memorial park was not on the main road. I only saw a closed iron gate on the side of the road. I thought it was closed that day, so I took pictures through the iron gate. It was not until a passerby shouted at me, "You should buy a ticket to enter and take pictures inside!" that I realized that the entrance should be somewhere else, and I was able to enter the park smoothly. It is recommended that signs and notices should be added next to the iron gate on the roadside. The memorial park is very simple in design, but very solemn. The tour guide in the memorial hall explained it very seriously and with rich emotions. Although I don't know much about Ghana's history, I have a better understanding of Mr. Nkrumah and the history of Ghana's early founding.

The National Museum of Ghana can be divided into three parts: anthropology, archaeology and art. The exhibits are varied. There are archaeological discoveries from ancient times, various Ghanaian paintings, and various exhibits showing cultural history. It is an important treasure house for tourists to understand Ghanaian culture and history, such as the Ghanaian language, chieftain system, food, clothing and handicrafts. If you are an art fanatic, the museum's collection of works by famous Ghanaian contemporary artists such as El Anatsui and Ablade Glover will definitely make you scream with excitement. Of course, you can also spend some time visiting the museum's brilliant sculpture park, which will also benefit you a lot.
