April 25th Bridge, spanning the Tagus River, is a landmark building in Lisbon, Portugal. Explanation of the name. When we first entered Lisbon, the car passed a bridge, and the tour guide said softly: April 25th Bridge has arrived... After being surprised, I realized that this bridge was built in 1966 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the then Prime Minister Salazar's rule in Portugal and was named Salazar Bridge; on April 25, 1974, Portugal's "Lilac Revolution" overthrew Salazar's dictatorship and established a democratic regime; to commemorate this historical moment, the bridge was renamed "April 25th Bridge". View the bridge. The shape of the twin-tower suspension bridge, the semi-circular arc-shaped steel cable group, the orange-red bridge body... the same appearance, is called the sister bridge of the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge. It is used for both road and rail, with a span of 1,012 meters and a total length of 2,277 meters. It is not only the north-south traffic artery of Lisbon, but also like a rainbow flying across the Tagus River, becoming a landmark landscape of Lisbon. Tips: On the south bank of the bridge is another landmark building in Lisbon - the top of Mount Almada. The large statue of Jesus, with a total height of 110 meters including the statue and base, opens its huge hands and overlooks the beautiful Lisbon.
I personally prefer the "25 April" Bridge over the Tagus River in Lisbon. This "sister bridge" of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco was built to commemorate the overthrow of the military government and the establishment of a democratic regime in Portugal during the "Lilac Revolution" on April 25, 1974. With a total length of 2,278 meters, it is the longest bridge in Europe and the third longest cable-stayed bridge in the world. Lisbon faces the Atlantic Ocean and has obvious microclimate characteristics. The hotel on the mountain is sunny, but it is cloudy when entering the city.

Lisbon's buses have their own unique way and running characteristics. There are quite a lot of buses here, and many of them are displayed in the museum. They have a rounded appearance and a track structure. The entire museum has a wide space. [Scenery] The scenery here is very good [Fun] Quite an interesting environment
This is a very good place. I highly recommend it to everyone.

I heard that this is a very good place to watch the sunset. Climbing to the highest platform, you can overlook the city of Lisbon and the surrounding scenery. The tiles here are also very beautiful, which is very suitable for appreciating the beauty of the city.
One of the more famous observation decks in the center of Lisbon, the São Pedro Observation Deck, overlooks most of the city and has a great view. If you accidentally miss it, don't be upset, there are many more observation decks.
