The grand set design and the actors' superb martial arts performances make every move powerful. The roar of artillery fire, the neighing of horses, and the shouting of people created a thrilling atmosphere. Sitting in the audience, I couldn't blink, afraid to miss a single exciting moment. It felt like I was on a real battlefield, charging into battle alongside the heroes. It was so exciting! 😍
🎭 Jianghu Street: This place is a microcosm of the martial arts world. The quaint streets are lined with unique shops selling weapon models and martial arts costumes. When molten iron is thrown high into the air, it instantly bursts into dazzling sparks, like fireworks blooming across the night sky, breathtakingly beautiful. The golden light cast upon me, as if draped in a dreamy veil. Standing among the crowd, I gazed up at this magnificent spectacle, my heart filled with awe and emotion. In that moment, all my worries vanished, and I was absorbed in this beautiful moment. 🥰
After visiting the Iron Tower, I followed the navigation instructions and walked to the Anyuan Gate city wall. From there, I entered Wansui Mountain, which is located right next to the city wall. Wansui Mountain is a large, modern tourist attraction with diverse functions. There's a children's area featuring cartoon characters, a Chinese Paladin area, a Water Margin City, and an intangible cultural heritage area. The performances are diverse and rich in content. I mainly watched the iron flower show, which was quite impressive, showcasing the fusion of modern and agricultural civilization.
Exit the south gate of Wansui Mountain and head to the Bianhe River ferry terminal opposite the Qingming Riverside Park underground parking lot. Scan the QR code to board the round-trip boat. The tour covers the section of the Imperial River during the Northern Song Dynasty, returning near the Bao Zheng Temple. Along the way, there are many man-made attractions and small performances. Because of the rain, the night market at the Bao Zheng Temple was closed, so I returned without getting off the boat.

It's off-season now, so I watched eight small theaters in one day. I really think each one is very good, the actors, makeup, scenery, and plot are all good. I really recommend it.
The happiest thing was seeing Director Wang's work. Every time I go to Zhengzhou on business, I'm always rushed out, and my ticket reservations are repeatedly postponed due to work. This time, I didn't miss the appointment. Even though it was raining, I was still enthusiastic about the show, and there was no need to queue. However, because I had so little time, I only saw two shows, only the Henan show. Having been here, I have no regrets. Next time, I have the chance to come back and bring my children with me.

In Kaifeng, this attraction is still worth a visit. It will take a long time to see it in a hurry, but it will take some time to take a closer look. There are performances, so you need to pay attention to the time.
It's beautiful. The current Kaifeng Prefecture was rebuilt according to the Song Dynasty's "Yingzaofashi" (Architectural Style). Each show is designed based on the scenic location. The show in the main hall revolves around the four Kaifeng prefects; the Mingli Garden depicts scenes of studying and the imperial examinations during the Song Dynasty; the Yingwu Tower features martial arts competitions and sparring sessions, with many fighting scenes; the Qianlong Palace is the most beautiful. There's a pool in front, which seems to symbolize the saying "a hidden dragon in the abyss." The show here mainly reflects Su Shi's life through his perspective, showcasing the prosperity of the Song Dynasty. Each major show includes several smaller acts, which shows that the planning and rehearsal team has carefully researched the show. My friend and I were thrilled to watch it. I don't know why, but it probably resonated with us. The actor who played Mr. Bao that night was also very good. He was tall, imposing, and professional. He had so many lines that I even ran into him reciting them on my way to the restroom.
There were some minor flaws throughout the entire show. The show started at 6 PM, but I hadn't mentioned it in the reservation or official account, so we didn't get in until around 8 PM, missing a lot of the show. (The program list in Kaifeng is very long and long.) Also, there are too few seats. Many people who arrived later had no place to sit, so they stood in the front, blocking the people behind from watching the performance. There were no staff to maintain order.

The zoo is very big, but there are a lot of people during the festival, so the experience is not very good. The queue at the Chief's House is more than an hour, and you can take a car around to see a few animals. The float parade is quite fun. There are many cars and different types of animals.

Most of the Luoyang Museum's treasures are here! You can't get enough!
(The crowds are probably only around lunchtime and before closing in the afternoon... It's okay to rush around during the morning opening, but you should take your time to explore the artifacts, not just for photos and check in.)
The Buddha's face at Yongning Temple, with its eternal smile and incomparable imperfect beauty! It's so beautiful from every angle! It's hard to imagine what it looked like back then!
(There are other smaller Buddha statues unearthed from the Yongning Temple ruins, and they're also very exquisite, but this large one is truly miraculous! The strata still show signs of fire, evoking the prosperity and destruction of the Northern Wei Dynasty as described in "Record of Buddhist Monasteries in Luoyang.")
And there's the Cao Wei white jade cup! Perfection! From the texture to the shape, it can only be described as perfect!
(Those tombs that slipped through the nets of tomb robbers... You can visit the Ancient Tomb Museum to see them! The study tours are also very interesting!)
There are also many bronze artifacts. Although it was once the capital of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, few artifacts remain, with only a small section of the Emperor's Six-Chariot Museum remaining. Sadly, the Jincun Tomb was looted, and the precious artifacts were lost overseas...

Even though I traveled during off-peak season, the Henan Provincial Museum was still a top-tier attraction. Its collection is truly impressive, and its archaeological and artistic value are both top-notch.
Teacher Feng Ping's explanations were truly fascinating, and her carefully crafted script was incredibly well-grounded. The content was thoroughly grounded in history, and she used simple, accessible language to address dry terminology. The explanations flowed seamlessly, highlighting key points and maintaining a smooth, rhythmic flow. The entire presentation lasted over 3.5 hours, far exceeding my expectations. Thank you again!
PS: There's a cultural coffee shop and snacks on the second floor of the museum, perfect for a refreshing snack. They were delicious, too.

We recommend parking in Parking Lot 2 and then entering through the side entrance. We parked there for four hours and only paid 3 RMB.

The museum also boasts a rich collection. I was particularly impressed by the museum's guided tours. A female guide led the tour through four sections of the museum at 10:30 a.m., though the only downside was the constant grating noise from the external microphone. I thought the tour was over, but then I heard an announcement about a different exhibition hall at a certain time. I caught three announcements in total, and due to time constraints, I attended two sessions. I was deeply impressed and grateful to the male guide who provided clear articulation, excellent equipment, and a wealth of knowledge and humor.
