Kudos to Teacher Jiang!!! So professional! Clear thinking, drawing on a wide range of sources! He even helped take photos – his skills are top-notch! Teacher Jiang mentioned he also lectures on Lobo, which makes me want to go back and listen again!
Liangliang, the tour guide from Elephant Travel, gave a fantastic explanation! Not only did he effortlessly weave in the historical anecdotes of the Vairocana Buddha statue and Wu Zetian's theocratic rule, but he also clearly outlined the dynastic changes of the Binyang Central Cave, from its initial excavation by the Northern Wei royal family to pray for Emperor Xianwen, to its subsequent construction during the Tang Dynasty. Most remarkably, he breathed life into the cold stone Buddha statues with vivid language, unfolding a four-hundred-year history of stone carvings for us. This was more than just a visit; it was a profound historical and cultural feast. We were completely captivated and filled with sincere admiration!

Mount Tai is the foremost of the Five Sacred Mountains and is definitely worth experiencing. I entered through the Red Gate around 10 PM, but I was surprised by the sheer number of people climbing at night – mostly students of all ages on holiday, making for a terrible experience. When I reached the South Heaven Gate, it was completely shrouded in fog, ruining my plans to watch the sunrise. Only after descending from the Jade Emperor Peak did the fog begin to dissipate, allowing me to truly appreciate the beauty of Mount Tai. Despite some disappointments, I still feel this trip to Mount Tai was worthwhile.
Climbing Mount Tai at night, you'll sweat from the bottom, but it gets very cold at the summit because of the sweat. It's a good idea to bring extra clothes to change into, or rent a coat at the top (there's a deposit, 60 yuan per hour), or bring plenty of hand warmers. I didn't take any pictures of the sunrise, but I'll share some photos of the 7 am sunrise and the scenery on the way back. Give it a like if you think it's nice!

I didn't expect to see such beautiful scenery for only 80 yuan! The architectural design is stunning, and the garden design is exquisite! Excellent value! The service was also exceptional. There were just too many people trying to solicit customers and give explanations at the entrance 😂
I'd been looking forward to visiting Jinci Temple after my first trip to Huangcheng Xiangfu, but I had to turn back due to family matters. This time, I had a layover at Taiyuan Airport, and although time was a bit tight, I still took a taxi to get here. It's definitely worth a visit. I also bought some cultural and creative products: a "thumbs-up dragon" and a "peace dragon" 😁

It's pretty good. One ticket allows you to play for three days. If you get tired during the day, you can go to the hotel to rest. I recommend visiting here. When booking a hotel, book one near one of the entrances to the scenic area for easy rest.
In winter, Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden not only features the still-brilliant International Chrysanthemum Exhibition, but also offers hundreds of immersive performances daily, two themed interactive events with thousands of NPCs, a Chinese-style amusement park, and many other exciting activities, fully recreating the prosperity of Bianjing (Kaifeng) in the Northern Song Dynasty and the charm of Song culture.

The water of Baotu Spring is crystal clear and gushes forth day and night. When the water is abundant, the spring water splashes like white snow, creating a spectacular sight. Surrounding it are numerous other springs, such as Jinxi Spring and Heihu Spring, forming a vast spring complex. The park is shaded by lush trees and abundant flowers and plants, offering different scenery in each season, which, together with the spring water, creates a picturesque scene. Baotu Spring has a long history, first mentioned in Shang Dynasty documents. It was named by Zeng Gong in the Song Dynasty, and Emperor Qianlong, impressed by the delicious tea brewed with its water, bestowed upon it the title of "Number One Spring Under Heaven." The ancient architectural complex around the spring, such as Luoyuan Hall and Guanlan Pavilion, along with the inscriptions by scholars throughout history, all showcase its profound cultural heritage.
The beauty of Baotu Spring surpasses even that of Jiangnan. The scenic area isn't large, but the three gushing springs are unique. They're breathtaking against the backdrop of the blue sky. The spring water is crystal clear, and the rocky paths are perfect for taking photos. There's also a memorial hall dedicated to Li Qingzhao and Wang Xuetao. Wanzhu Garden is also worth a visit. The entrance fee is 40 yuan. Jinan should really promote the unique culture surrounding these springs.

Pingyao Ancient City, a Ming and Qing dynasty city with a history of over 2,800 years, is one of the best-preserved ancient cities in the Han Chinese region of China and is world-renowned as one of the four best-preserved ancient cities. The all-inclusive ticket covers many attractions, including the highlights. Although a day trip might be a bit rushed, it's still worth a visit.
One Yanmen Pass, half of China's history. A thousand years of war, a thousand miles of heroic spirit. Strolling along the ancient road of Yanmen Pass, one can almost hear the neighing of warhorses. From Li Mu of the Warring States period, Meng Tian of the Qin Dynasty, Wei Qing, Huo Qubing, and Li Guang of the Western Han Dynasty, to Xue Rengui and Guo Ziyi of the Tang Dynasty, and Yang Ye (the Yang family generals) of the Northern Song Dynasty, heroes emerged from Yanmen Pass!

Three days for 100 yuan is a great deal! No pressure, lots of interactive NPCs, perfect for relaxing or bringing kids. The price is really unbeatable; we had a fantastic time and will definitely come again.
I've been here a few times before, and it's getting better and better! I got an annual pass, and it was worth it! Now there are dedicated free parking lots, and there's also a free shuttle bus to the scenic area, which is very convenient and hassle-free! There are performances everywhere in the scenic area, and many NPCs to interact with, making it very lively! You can also earn silver coins, which can be exchanged for items.

I really loved it! The shows were all incredibly moving and well-made, and the entire park was beautifully designed. It's definitely worth spending a whole day there. If possible, avoid holidays for an even better experience! 😍
I spent the entire day, from 9:30 in the morning to 8:00 in the evening, inside that place called Henan, surrounded by tall yellow walls, binge-watching shows in a rush. It was an experience that was well worth the money.

I came to the Qiao Family Compound because of the TV series, but it was almost closing time when I arrived. I hired a guided tour and walked through each courtyard like a special forces soldier, and saw the "treasures" hidden in the compound. The original owner's design requirements and architectural ideas for the entire compound were truly remarkable.
I drove through Shanxi, visiting the Li Family Mansion in Yuncheng, the Ma Family Mansion in Pingyao, the Wang Family Mansion, and the Cao Family Mansion. The Qiao Family Mansion was the best experience of all. The architecture was exquisite, the management was excellent, and the official explanations were very helpful. It's clear that with its fame and established reputation, both its operations and management have kept pace. Although the Qiao family were primarily businessmen, their family values and patriotism were truly admirable.

The Wang family, once the richest family in Shanxi, built such a grand compound through generations of hard work. It's unimaginable unless you see it with your own eyes. With over two thousand rooms, it's twice the size of the Forbidden City. Absolutely stunning!
The Wang Family Compound boasts a well-preserved defensive structure, including various gate towers and watchtowers, allowing visitors to climb the city wall around the entire compound. Its wood carvings, brick carvings, and stone carvings adorn the eaves, brackets, screen walls, doors, and windows, depicting a rich variety of subjects such as the Three Friends of Winter (pine, bamboo, and plum), and the arts of music, chess, calligraphy, and painting, all crafted with exquisite artistry.
