The Hubei Provincial Museum houses over 240,000 artifacts, including nearly 1,000 pieces of national first-class cultural relics. As of February 2023, it occupies a total land area of 85,000 square meters and a total building area of 114,000 square meters, of which 36,000 square meters are exhibition space. The museum is laid out as a south and north building, with two independent east and west exhibition halls. Among its artifacts are the Zeng Hou Yi chime bells, the Sword of Goujian, King of Yue, and the Tiger-shaped Drum Stand.
