Montmorency Falls is an alternative to Niagara Falls. It is less crowded than Niagara and quieter. A nice place to stroll in the park.

Montmorency Falls is a short trip from Toronto. Height is taller than Niagara but not as majestic. Worth a 2-3 hours visit nonetheless.

The Quebec Crystal Falls/Montmorency Falls is located in the east of Old Quebec City, and is a famous tourist attraction. The Montmorency Falls is very impressive, because it has a drop of 83 meters, which is 1.5 times that of Niagara Falls. A large amount of water pours down from the steep cliffs into the St. Lawrence River, making a deafening sound, and it is quite majestic. It is the highest waterfall in Quebec and is known as one of the three largest waterfalls in America. Its water source comes from the mouth of the Montmorency River, rushing down along the cliffs of the mountains and converging with the Saint-Laurent River. The Crystal Falls is very similar to the Huangguoshu Falls in my country. Although it is not as wide and spectacular, it also has a unique style.

Montmorency Falls is located about 1 km north of Quebec City. It is formed by the Montmorency River falling vertically from a 83-meter-high mountain. Its height is 1.5 times that of Niagara Falls. It is very spectacular. You can choose to go down to the bottom of the valley by cable car, train or hiking.
