Who knows, my family! Buying Universal Studios tickets on Ctrip was an absolute blast! 💯 First, the ticket purchase process was incredibly smooth. The information was clear and concise, with detailed descriptions of various ticket types and packages, making it easy to find the right one for you. After comparing prices on several platforms, Ctrip offered the best value, so I placed my order without hesitation. I received my e-ticket immediately after payment; the speed of issuance was incredible! 👍 On the day of my visit, I could simply scan the QR code to enter the park, eliminating the need to queue for ticket exchange. This saved me tons of time and allowed me to focus more on the attractions. Ctrip also thoughtfully provided a guide, which I used to plan my itinerary and helped me hit all the popular attractions without missing out. It was an incredible experience. Next time I visit Universal Studios, I'll definitely buy my tickets with Ctrip!

Badaling, located in Beijing's Yanqing District, is the best-preserved section of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall. Since ancient times, it has been a strategic point known as the "key to the northern gate." Constructed of granite stone slabs, its walls stretch for 23 kilometers, rising over eight meters and capable of supporting five horses galloping side by side. Its elaborate defensive system of watchtowers, battlements, and urn walls, forming a majestic dragon-like structure amidst the mountain ridges, has earned it the nickname "Nine Fortresses of the World." Nearly five kilometers of the section is currently open to the public, housing facilities such as the Great Wall Museum and the introduction of technologies like drone delivery to enhance services. It has become a landmark for Chinese and international visitors to experience the grandeur of Chinese history.
We finally made it to the magnificent Badaling Great Wall. Seniors over 60 are free, but they need to exchange their tickets at the window and then queue up to enter. The shuttle bus is also free. This ticket is a great deal.

On a summer evening, head to the Temple of Heaven. It boasts more than just the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests and the Echo Wall, but also ancient trees and shady trails. Birds can stroll through the grass, and squirrels happily forage for food. It's a pure, healing energy. The red walls near the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests are a uniquely Beijing red. Surrounded by ancient trees dating back three to five hundred years, simply walking among them feels like visiting an ancient site. Mighty trees offer a shady umbrella, and relaxing on a bench beneath them, feeling the surging greenery and the setting sun, is a truly relaxing experience.
The Temple of Heaven is much larger than I imagined. The Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests is truly majestic and spectacular. You can't truly appreciate it without experiencing it firsthand. I highly recommend going if you haven't been!

The scenery is beautiful, but what is more important is to understand the background and significance of the construction of the Summer Palace. I will bring my children here again next time. Xiucai said that Guide Li knows history well and speaks humorously. It is very educational. I also encountered several spots that were open today. I was lucky to see them.
Thank you, Xiucai, for your wonderful commentary. This trip to the Summer Palace was absolutely amazing! I absolutely give you a five-star rating! 👍 From the moment we arrived at the Summer Palace, Li demonstrated his professionalism. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the park's history, architectural features, and cultural heritage, and his explanations were captivating. He brought the stories behind the murals on the Long Corridor and the interesting stories surrounding the construction of the Tower of Buddhist Incense to life, bringing these attractions to life. Li's explanations were particularly engaging. He not only imparted professional knowledge but also interspersed them with amusing anecdotes, skillfully connecting history and present-day life. Both children and adults were captivated. Li was also extremely attentive in planning our itinerary. He cleverly planned our route based on the day's visitor flow, allowing us to avoid the crowds while still enjoying the Summer Palace's highlights, saving us considerable time and energy. During the tour, he was attentive to everyone's needs. He thoughtfully found a comfortable spot for tired visitors to rest. He also patiently explained a particular attraction to those particularly interested. I have to say, with Guide Li leading the way, this trip to the Summer Palace was not only informative but also incredibly enjoyable. I highly recommend Guide Li and will definitely be with him next time I visit Beijing!

Hassle free. Just use the QR codes for entry. The great wall was indeed majestic. Recommended!
Good service. They wrote to us on WhatsApp and checked that we were to arrive at the meeting point. The bus arrived in more than 1 hour to the MuTianYu entrance where the guide waited for us at the end of the day. I didn't like it so much that they sold us on the bus a group of tickets for the cable cars claiming that in 5 hours we couldn't do all the wall which i think at the end was not true considering that the watchtower 6 to 14 is 40 min by walk. So if you want to save some money just buy the cable car that you want.

Gubei Water Town is getting better and better. The only thing is that it is not pet-friendly. If you go with a dog, you can't stay in the water town. So my family went in to play and have a meal, and watched the night performances and light shows.
It's a pretty good ancient city. Walking around in it gives you a feeling of traveling through time, especially the children's playhouse. The children loved it so much that they didn't come out and played until the place was cleared.

Beijing's Chaoyang Park, located west of the East Fourth Ring Road, is the largest park in the eastern part of the city. It frequently hosts children's activities and is a popular destination for residents. The park is quieter in the winter, making it a great time to visit. To the west of Chaoyang Park is the Blue Harbor, and these two combined were once a bustling destination. Chaoyang Park also boasts a large waterfront area, perfect for boating, and extensive green space and lawns. It's well worth a visit.
I didn't realize the Five Balls were so huge... I rushed to the Box early in the morning to check in with the Mayday puppets, then headed to Chaoyang Park at 10 a.m. to enter Pop Mart. Afterward, I walked out the back door to check in at the Five Balls. It was a bit far, over an hour and a kilometer, but still closer than the main entrance. Afterward, I headed towards Blue Harbor for a shorter walk. I had no idea Chaoyang Park was so big, and the Five Balls were also so huge 🥕.

Today, guided by our guide, Jiang Shangyi, I climbed the Wanchun Pavilion, the highest point in Jingshan Park. Under the golden sunlight, I took in a sweeping panorama of Beijing. The Forbidden City unfolded before us like a painting, and I seemed to see the ancient people who once traversed it. A microcosm of time condensed in this moment, a truly captivating experience. A self-guided tour of Jingshan Park would be a fleeting experience, but listening to our guide, Jiang, truly brought the park to life. He's trustworthy!
Jingshan Park is an often overlooked attraction, steeped in history and steeped in the virtues of the Chinese nation. It's a natural oxygen bar. My guide, Xiucai Shuo Jiang Shangyi, was incredibly knowledgeable and well worth the trip! Xiucai Shuo is truly an excellent team of guides! Highly recommended!

Shichahai Scenic Area Review (out of 5 stars) 🏞️ Landscape Beauty | ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4.5) | A blend of nature and humanity, beautiful in all seasons ||📜 Cultural Heritage | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5.0) | The soul of old Beijing, the core of hutong culture ||📸 Film Production Index | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5.0) | Red walls, clear waters, nighttime lighting, and strong character storytelling ||🚶 Tour Experience | ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3.5) | Crowded during the day, slightly commercialized, so avoid peak hours ||💡 Content Potential | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5.0) | Ideal for vlogs, street photography, and cultural short videos. Shichahai isn't a lake, but rather the collective name for the Qianhai, Houhai, and Xihai (Jishuitan) areas of the "One Pond and Three Lakes." Located in Xicheng District, Beijing, it's close to the central axis, bordered by the Drum Tower to the north and Beihai Park to the south. It's the only open water area in inner Beijing that retains its historical character. Qianhai is the busiest, with its concentration of bars and cruise ships. Houhai boasts a rich cultural atmosphere and a rich network of hutongs. Xihai is the quietest, mostly local, and is home to the Huitong Temple and the Guo Shoujing Memorial Hall. This area boasts the most complete and densely populated hutong and courtyard complex in Beijing. Recommended cycling route: Drum Tower → Xiaobadaowan → Jinsi Hutong → Yinding Bridge → Liuyin Street. Photographs include: stone gate pillars, brick carvings, clotheslines, grandpas playing chess, and children jumping rope. 📸 It's recommended to film a "hutong sound diary"—the sound of tricycle bells, the swaying of bird cages, and the hawking of candied haws—for a truly immersive experience. Shichahai at night: one of Beijing's most romantic waterways. As night falls, bars light up, the water shimmers, and cruise ships ply. Shichahai isn't just a tourist attraction, but a living diary of old Beijing—your job is to read between the lines.
Shichahai is a historical and cultural scenic spot and a Beijing historical and cultural conservation area. Located in Xicheng District, adjacent to Beijing's central axis, it stretches from the north side of Di'anmen Outer Street in the east, runs from Di'anmen West Street in the south to Longtoujing in the west, and connects to Liuyin Street, Yangfang Hutong, Xinjiekou East Street, and Xinjiekou North Street in the northwest. It runs from Xinjiekou North Street in the west to Xinjiekou Gap in the north, and from Xinjiekou Gap in the north to Deshengmen in the east. From Deshengmen, it follows Gulou West Street to the Bell and Drum Towers. Shichahai encompasses Qianhai, Houhai, and Xihai, with Qianhai possessing its own unique charm. If Beijing is a grand epic, then Shichahai and Qianhai are its most vivid chapters, imbued with the lively atmosphere and historical charm of old Beijing. Shichahai encompasses Qianhai, Houhai, and Xihai, each with its own unique charm. Once a wharf on the Grand Canal and the final destination of the canal transport system, it witnessed the prosperity of a thousand ships. Through the passage of time, Qianhai today retains its ancient charm while incorporating modern vitality. In summer, Qianhai is a kingdom of lotuses. The phrase "Lotus leaves stretch to the sky, their green leaves endless; lotus blossoms, reflecting the sun, are a striking red" perfectly captures this magnificent scene. Layers of lotus leaves cascade across the pond, like green silk spread across the surface. Lotus flowers, some in bud, some in full bloom, range from fiery red to rosy pink and white like snow. Cruise ships crisscross the pond, complemented by the weeping willows and quaint buildings lining the shore, creating a breathtaking scene reminiscent of a stunning ink painting. Strolling through the lotus market, the air is filled with the delicate fragrance of lotus leaves and the aroma of a variety of traditional snacks. Lotus leaf porridge and eight-treasure lotus seed porridge each sip exudes a uniquely summery freshness, enchanting. In winter, Qianhai transforms into a joyful world of ice and snow. As one of Beijing's oldest natural ice rinks, it holds childhood memories for countless Beijingers and attracts tourists from all over the world. Strap on your skates and glide freely across the ice, or hop on a sled and feel the wind whistling in your ears as laughter echoes across the rink. The area surrounding Qianhai is even more richly endowed with treasures. The Yinding Bridge spans Qianhai and Houhai. On clear days, you can gaze out over the distant silhouette of the Western Hills, a scene known as "Viewing the Mountains from the Yinding," one of the "Eight Small Scenic Spots of Yanjing." Tucked away on Qianhai West Street is the Prince Gong Mansion, the most complete surviving Qing Dynasty palace. Its mansion and gardens complement each other beautifully, with rock formations, corridors, ponds, and flowers—every brick and tile tells a story of the past. Also nearby is Guo Moruo's former residence, a perfectly preserved two-story courtyard house where he once lived. Step inside and you'll feel the master's presence. Strolling along the lakeside, the aroma of barbecue fills the air, the cries of vendors selling tripe (stir-fried tripe) rise and fall, and the occasional whistle of pigeons drifts through the alleys, instantly drawing you into authentic Beijing life. At night, the neon lights of Bar Street flicker, the sounds of resident singers blend with the clinking of glasses, creating a vibrant atmosphere. Shichahai Qianhai offers a unique and moving experience no matter when you visit. A visit to Shichahai is a must-see in Beijing; its beauty and history will surely make you feel well-deserved.
