San Juan de Gaztelugatxe is a mini island with a St. John's Church built in the 9th century. To get to the island from the mainland, you first need to cross a beautiful arch bridge and then climb the "S" path of 241 steps. Everyone who climbs to the church can ring the bell three times and make three wishes. There are two ways to the church, the shorter one is difficult to walk, and the longer one is an asphalt road. You can choose the short way down the mountain and the long way up the mountain. This is also the filming location of "Game of Thrones (VII)", Dragonstone Island where Daenerys was born, it is beautiful enough. Highly recommended!
This attraction is highly recommended for traveling to northern Spain! No reservation is required and it is free before mid-April🆓 There are many hiking routes, and the fastest one can reach the church on the island in 1 hour (the hike is not difficult). It is suitable for both the elderly and children with good physical fitness. There are buses, but the most convenient way is to drive. Remember to bring water, there is no place to buy water/food on the way. 📷 It is beautiful to take pictures of the church or the starting point on the stone road! Great pictures! 👏🏽

Santiago Cathedral, I like the colorful glazed glass on the top of the building the most. Various gorgeous colors are combined together to outline different charms. This colorful glazed light fascinates me, as if God is giving you a glimpse through this colorful light. The afternoon sun refracts into the room through the glass, allowing you to glimpse the world. Beyond the material world seen by the naked eye, there is pure light, colorless light, and light is the path projected into the three-dimensional world. Sitting on the bench in the church, closing my eyes, listening to the sound from the sky, my heart is unusually calm. In the world, occasionally, I feel a space beyond the material world. This transcendence is precious.
The church was built in Santiago in the 17th century. It is dedicated to James, one of the 12 disciples of Christ. He was revered as the patron saint of the Christian country of Spain in the 18th century. It flourished due to the pilgrims. The side corridor is a pilgrimage route that can be walked around the church. The remains of James are placed in the underground altar.
