Daming Lake in Jinan is one of Jinan's three major historical sites, said to be formed by the confluence of Jinan's numerous springs. During my trip to Jinan, I stayed near Daming Lake. From my room's terrace, I could overlook Chaoran Tower, and the Daming Lake scenic area was just 20 meters away. The environment was truly exceptional. I also had a wonderful time with Daming Lake Park. The park is vast, integrating waterscapes, gardens, and ancient architecture. Pavilions, towers, winding paths, and corridors are arranged in a staggered pattern. The lake and mountain scenery is breathtaking. "Lotus flowers on four sides, willows on three sides, half a city of mountains, half a city of lakes" is the perfect description of Daming Lake's scenery. In the evening, Daming Lake begins to bustle with activity, as people come out for after-dinner strolls, activities, and relaxation to unwind after a long day. Tourists in Hanfu (Chinese traditional costumes) take photos in front of Chaoran Tower; vendors set up night market stalls selling food, drinks, and souvenirs; square dancing, drumming, and shuttlecock kicking are all part of the atmosphere, creating a joyful scene. Buy a ticket and go up to Chaoran Tower to overlook the entire Jinan city. Under the light, it is so beautiful that you will never want to leave.
