Drinking beer is a must when visiting Belgium. Today I recommend this brewery museum in Bruges, Belgium. It is a museum transformed from an old brewery. The brand began in 1564. The brewery is called De Halve Maan, which translates to half moon. The logo is a golden half moon face logo. It is a family-owned beer brand with a sense of age.
The wine cellar is located in a late Gothic-style building, which has a modern cooling warehouse and a German-style wine cellar. The courtyard in the middle is an open-air bar. It is quite pleasant to sit in the yard and have a glass of wine while waiting for a seat before the visit!
The tour is led by a leader who will introduce the whole process of brewing beer and the family history of the brand. I left the English group and only accepted 40% of it. Hahahaha! No Chinese tour guide is indeed unfriendly to friends who don't understand English!
