Hongshan Zoo is definitely worth a visit! The animals are relaxed and at ease, and you can witness their natural behaviors. The design is incredibly thoughtful, offering a truly immersive viewing experience, and the explanations are full of respect and care for life. There are no animal shows, yet the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. You could easily spend a whole day there without getting tired; it's truly a benchmark for zoos in China!
I arrived at Hongshan Zoo before 9:30 am on Sunday. I made a point of using the South Gate, which is about a six or seven-minute walk from Nanjing Railway Station. The zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, orangutans, and meerkats in the "Song of Africa" exhibit were all so cute, especially the meerkats. The one acting as a sentinel stood perfectly still, its little paws constantly digging. After exploring the South Zone, I went to the Feline Planet and Feline Enclosure. Yueyue was lounging comfortably in the sun at the highest point. There was also a serval named Niuniu posing for the camera with great style.

Some interesting attractions were cancelled, as were the nighttime attractions; the park closes at 5 PM, and this wasn't mentioned when purchasing tickets. The rides are just so-so, typical of all theme parks, nothing special. I won't be coming back.
We took the kids there over the weekend, and it was a lot of fun. Although the hotel is a bit old, it was still very clean. Our housekeeper, Ms. Wang Ying, contacted us in advance to decorate the room and prepare fruit and snacks. The kids were hungry in the evening, so each of them had a milk and biscuits – so thoughtful! Breakfast was very crowded… While the selection wasn't huge, the quality was decent; the noodles and donuts were delicious. I highly recommend this hotel; it's excellent.

Zhongshan Scenic Area is quite large. We entered from Gate 3 of Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, passed Meishan Mountain and the Stone Elephant Road, then went to the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum Palace. After exiting, we continued walking to Meiling Palace. After visiting Meiling Palace, we took a sightseeing bus to Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, and then took another bus to Linggu Temple. The scenery in the scenic area is beautiful; the maple leaves are red in autumn, and the reflections in the water are very photogenic. There were many people on Wutong Avenue, all taking pictures. Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum is actually quite easy to climb; the steps are relatively low, and it only takes a few minutes to reach the top. The view from the top is particularly beautiful.
Zhongshan Mountain is a geomantically auspicious place, the final resting place of many important figures in Chinese history, including Sun Quan, Zhu Yuanzhang, and Sun Yat-sen. The entire scenic area boasts a fantastic environment with a very high green coverage rate, making it highly recommended.

I bought the buffet and tickets at the Boromitra Hotel and was impressed by the hotel's warm service. The food was fresh and delicious, and the exotic dishes were a refreshing change. I was especially impressed by Ms. Yu Yanmei's enthusiastic service; she carefully explained the food, offered charging services, and informed me about the show times and arrangements. Excellent service!
Traveling with family was fun no matter where we went. The town's food street was interspersed with antique-style buildings. There were many doll-shaped decorations along the roadside, and the cleaners were very diligent in cleaning. The shops sold a wide variety of items, including fans, incense, and copper crafts. The evening performances were quite entertaining. I suggest reducing the green light on the lakeside lights – be careful at night. Otherwise, it was good.

The Nanjing Museum effectively functions as the Jiangsu Provincial Museum. It is one of the earliest museums established in China, comprising a history hall, an art hall, a special exhibition hall, a digital hall, a Republican era hall, and an intangible cultural heritage hall. Admission is free and by reservation only; audio guides are available for a fee. The exhibition showcasing the Republican era is quite unique and unlike any other provincial museum I've seen.
If you're visiting Nanjing, you absolutely must check out the Nanjing Museum. It's a huge place with tons of exhibits and a fantastic experience. The museum is structured as one building with six galleries: a history gallery, a special exhibition gallery, a digital gallery, an art gallery, an intangible cultural heritage gallery, and a Republican-era gallery. Even a cursory glance could take a whole day to explore. The audio guides are very user-friendly, with several types available for adults, students, and children, catering to different age groups. The replica Republican-era street below is quite immersive. There are also many souvenirs available; I bought these building block fridge magnets, which are quite suitable for kids and also have a nice souvenir value.

The Chinese-style horror is indeed amazing, but it's more suitable for older children. It's not very friendly to children under 120cm, as there are many height restrictions, which is a bit of a shame. The park is very large, and there are many very friendly NPCs. I'll definitely come back when my child is older.
This amusement park is excellent. Its location is quite convenient, with a Journey to the West-themed area at the back. Overall, it offers great value for money and is suitable for adults and children to enjoy together. The attractions are relatively concentrated, so the experience won't be too tiring.

The venue is indeed not very large, and it doesn't take too long to walk around, but the cultural relics are quite impressive, with countless artifacts from the Warring States and Han Dynasties. Make a reservation in advance, and it's a must-see attraction.
Teacher Zhang's explanation was incredibly detailed and informative. He was very dedicated and enthusiastic, demonstrating a deep understanding and pride in the culture of our hometown. Thank you for your explanation, Teacher! I'll definitely come back to Xuzhou again! 👍

Taierzhuang Ancient Town is definitely worth a visit! It possesses both the gentle charm of a Jiangnan water town and the profound history of a northern ancient city. Strolling along the waterways in a traditional rowboat, with boat girls humming tunes and the lights on both banks reflected on the water, the scene of "a river of fishing lights" is dreamlike and enchanting. The winding cobblestone streets, the Ming and Qing dynasty buildings, and the bullet-riddled walls tell tales of history. The intangible cultural heritage of fire dragon steel flowers is breathtaking, and the aroma of yellow flower beef noodles and vegetable pancakes is irresistible. During the day, explore the exhibition halls and appreciate the culture; at night, enjoy the night view and fireworks. The blend of northern and southern styles with ancient and modern charm is so captivating that two days and one night are simply not enough—you won't want to leave!
Generally speaking, it's ok. The commercialization is a bit serious, but the prices are still quite touching. The tickets are a bit expensive. After entering, many projects have to be charged again. The cost performance is not high.

The fastest high-speed train from Shanghai takes 90 minutes, followed by a 10-minute subway ride from the station. It's near the Presidential Palace! The exhibition hall has three floors. Luckily, I happened to catch a free 2-hour guided tour by volunteers. There were adults, elementary school students, and middle school students. I learned a lot about the Six Dynasties and benefited greatly. There are also vending machines and shops on the first floor, some with special commemorative items!
During the Six Dynasties period, Nanjing became the political, economic, and cultural center of southern China. The Six Dynasties Museum showcases the lifestyle and urban development of this era.

The scenic area is relatively pristine. The cable car's middle station leads directly to the waterfall group, and the downhill road is well-maintained; it's about a half-hour walk to the scenic area's bus stop. You can take the scenic area bus to Baima Grand Canyon and then walk downhill for about 1.5 hours, enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way. The ticket allows for two entries; those with good stamina can enter the park a second day to climb the main peak.
Except for the bad weather, foggy and cloudy mountain, the experience was okay. Fortunately, there was a cable car to go up. My legs would have shaken just walking down the mountain. I played in the afternoon of the first day in Baima Grand Canyon. It was pretty good.
