The tour guide was very thorough. I initially thought it was a tour group bus, but it turned out to be an independent trip. She explained the bus location and number of people in advance, recorded the passengers, and numbered them by family group. She also arranged the optimal itinerary for each scenic spot, noting an hour in advance which spots would cause us to be late and which ones to rush. As a result, our round trips were always on time, offering more freedom than a tour group and more planning than an independent trip. The guide was meticulous and conscientious, a down-to-earth and kind person. I embodied the excellent qualities of the Guizhou people. I didn't expect to receive such a low-cost direct bus ride, yet receive such high-quality tour service. It was incredibly rewarding and I gained a lot of valuable insights from my trip.
There are more people going there during the summer vacation, so it is necessary to buy a ticket if you go with children. The ticket includes the ticket for the Water Curtain Cave. If you don’t enter the Water Curtain Cave, it means you haven’t been to Huangguoshu Waterfall, and the experience will be maximized.

The scenic area is great! The scenery is beautiful, the sightseeing bus and tour route are designed very scientifically and reasonably, and tourists can choose according to their physical strength. It's so beautiful, a must-see in life😄
It rained the day before we went, and it rained that day too, but since it was a light rain, the water didn't turn into mung bean soup. 😂 The misty rain on the rainy day at Xiaoqikong has a different charm. If it were a sunny day, the photos would be even better.

Visiting Qianhu Miao Village on a rainy day is a unique experience. It's worthy of being the largest Miao village in China, with mist shrouding the mountains, like a fairyland. There aren't many people in the off-season, and the shuttle bus ride is very smooth. The rain only made the trip a little inconvenient, but it didn't dampen the interest of the visit.
The Miao village is large, with sightseeing bus stops included in your ticket. Numerous restaurants serve authentic local specialties. The most enjoyable part is strolling through the village, where the winding staircases reveal the stilt houses of the Miao people. As night falls, watching the lights gradually light up, it feels like entering a fairytale world.

It's truly the best cave. The tourist area stretches over 6 kilometers, and even someone like me, who walks briskly and only takes photos of the scenery rather than the people, still takes nearly two hours. The cave is filled with various wonders, and many areas offer a new view. Outside of holidays, it's not crowded, making for a great experience. Parking lots 2 and 3 are actually more convenient, as they're closer to the visitor center.
We visited at the end of September, and it was very quiet, making the experience quite enjoyable. From the Grand Canyon exit, we took the elevator, boat, and shuttle to Zhijin Cave. The shuttle and sightseeing bus were very convenient. It was still quite breathtaking, truly awe-inspiring. It's truly a place worth visiting. The cave was slippery, and we climbed an hour and a half each way. But I can't imagine being breathless during the summer holidays with so many people, so I'd be wise to consider it carefully during crowded times. The lighting is a bit difficult to judge, though.

It should be the newly built city wall that has enclosed part of the old street. It is nice to walk around the city wall in this weather. You can go to a high hill to see the distant view. It is quite pleasant to walk on the bluestone pavement of the old street, buy some snacks in the shops on both sides of the street, and visit small shops.
It feels better than Chongqing's Ciqikou. While the main streets are lined with shops, most of the buildings are from the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China. The few paid shops are relatively well-preserved, and the exhibitions are quite unique. Climbing the city wall, I discovered that there are still quite a few reinforced concrete houses in the town, but you don't usually see them in town. The 60 yuan entrance fee is a bit expensive, and the shops inside are highly similar.

To be honest, the attraction surprised me a lot and exceeded my expectations. The sculptures and design styles inside are unique, full of mysterious primitive tribal atmosphere and strong artistic tension, primitive ruggedness and exaggeration, rich in ethnic elements, and it is very photogenic!
The Yelang Valley Scenic Area in Huaxi is quite nice and has local characteristics. It is a modern reproduction of an ancient story and helps people understand the legend of Yelang. Although Guiyang locals find it boring, it is worth a visit for foreign tourists to Guiyang. It is still very artistic and the various statues are made of stone and are also very exquisite.

The scenic area is huge, so it's worth planning your visit. It's also worth buying an electric car, as it's difficult to walk. The panoramic view from the observation deck is beautiful, and the items sold in the area are reasonably priced. The balloons in the rice fields are great for taking photos.
Unique Landforms: Wanfenglin is the world's most typical region for the development of conical karst peak forests. Its landscape is dominated by conical peaks and peak clusters, formed from Triassic rocks. Dotted throughout are various geological relics, including karst caves, funnels, and underground rivers. It is known as the "China Conical Karst Museum." Diverse Peak Forests: Wanfenglin is divided into East and West Peak Forests. The East Peak Forest is characterized by towering karst peaks, while the West Peak Forest is a plateau karst landscape. The peak forests vary in form, with five major types, including the Array Peak Forest, the Sword Peak Forest, and the Dragon Peak Forest, forming a magnificent and vast karst landscape. Pleasant Climate: The region boasts a subtropical monsoon humid climate, with an average annual temperature of 16-18°C, with neither severe cold in winter nor extreme heat in summer. The average temperature in July is 21-26°C. It is listed as a national summer resort city and a popular destination for health and leisure tourism in China. Beautiful countryside: The Nahui River winds through it, and the Bagua fields, rice fields and Buyi villages complement each other, forming a picturesque pastoral landscape. The rapeseed flowers are brilliant in spring, and the rice paddies are golden in autumn. The scenery varies with each season.

I have always dreamed of experiencing the "guaranteed rescue" of Gaoguo River. Today it finally came true. It was really a good experience. I traveled alone and formed a boat with a temporary companion. I fell into the river halfway and was rescued again. It was really good. However, after communicating with the local driver, he said that the water flow was diverted in some areas due to an accident. It was not as thrilling as before. I felt a little regretful, but overall it was wow!
After watching TikTok, I had been thinking about it for a long time. Finally, I came to Guizhou and chose to go rafting on the Gaoguo River. It was exciting and enjoyable. The water was very cold, but it was worth it.

Going to Pingtang, Guizhou to see the Tianyan is a great parent-child learning activity. Some things you have to see with your own eyes and experience in person to feel how shocking they are. You must take the shuttle bus, otherwise you can't walk on such a long mountain road by yourself, and it's too dangerous with so many cars coming and going. After leaving Tianyan, we also went to the Nan Rendong Memorial Hall. To be honest, as an adult, I was very educated. It's good to bring children to such attractions more often.
The China Sky Eye Scenic Area is very large, and the various exhibition halls there sell tickets separately. Time was tight, so I could only take a quick look. Overall, it was good, introducing astronomical knowledge, and was both popular science and interesting.

The scenic area has not yet been commercialized, and more than 90% of the residents are locals; there is a profound democratic cultural heritage, Dong culture, Dong songs, Dong clothing, Dong characteristic architecture, etc. ... agricultural culture and a self-sufficient lifestyle... a place full of happiness! There are beautiful terraced fields, each season has its own scenery, and the Dong architecture is also very beautiful.
There is nothing particularly special in the Zhaoxing Dong Village. It is much smaller than the Qianhu Miao Village, and there are not many places to visit. However, I went to the Tang'an Terraces on the mountain at sunset. I was amazed and took a lot of great photos!
