It is very easy to use for all locations. Just scan a QR code, and you will get a ticket. I used it for the ropeway first. The views are very nice and breathtaking. Be aware of the weather there as it might get cloudy and rainy on some days. Boat is using a ferry service and goes to the other two locations so you can see the temple and each side of the lake. Renting a bike was also very easy. They offered me an electrical buy if I wanted to go around the lake, but I sticked with a normal one and went around the lake anyway. It took me about 2.5 hours and a bit of effort to do so as at some parts you have to go up on a steep hill.
Very easy to use, just follow the instructions. I used electronic QR code for trip forward and back. It's very easy to navigate in the high-speed rail station, just go down and look for exit gate no. 5. My suggestion is to wait in a queue no matter when the bus is arriving as there are no reserved seats, so you might not get a seat for the first bus. My mistake was that I saw the buss is coming in 16 minutes and there were only 4 people in the line so I went to a restroom and when I came back there were 25 people in front of me and at the end I didn't get a seat and needed to wait for the another bus. They way back was also not complicated as the station is small and is a clear lane for the bus going back. Just use a QR, which you redeem on the same day as your trip when boarding the bus.

This tour was surprisingly good. It wasn't a large group, but the most important thing was that the tour guide was very professional, articulate, and attentive to every detail. He was also very considerate and helped the passengers find the best angles for photos. This was definitely the best tour guide I've ever had! Of course, the car was also spacious, comfortable, and clean. I have to give it a thumbs up!
A very beautiful mountain with lots of peace and tranquillity. Hikers must go climb Tashan, the highest peak in Alishan. It’s a tough climb, gave us a very good workout. But you must go early to enjoy the view at the top because the fog will cover most of the view in the afternoon.

The Kaohsiung British Consulate is located on the Cijin Peninsula in Gushan District, Kaohsiung City. It was built in 1865 and was the British diplomatic mission in Taiwan at that time. The building style of the consulate is a Western classical building with historical significance. Today, after restoration and reconstruction, it has become a museum that displays the history and culture of Britain in Taiwan. Visitors can visit the historical exhibitions of the consulate, enjoy the beautiful harbor views, and learn about the diplomatic and trade activities at that time. This is an important cultural and historical attraction in Kaohsiung.
A relatively historically significant attraction that tells the history of Taiwan's secession. The consulate is on a hill and you need to climb stairs. The view from above is nice, and you can see Kaohsiung city and the sea. It is convenient to buy tickets on the platform, and there are sticky notes for free. The price is cheaper than buying tickets on site.

The Rainbow Military Village is a colorful place in Taichung's Nantun District. It was originally an old military village that was about to be demolished. It became popular because veteran Huang Yongfu used a paintbrush to paint alleys and walls with rainbow lines and cartoon patterns. Now it has become a popular check-in spot. When you enter the village, you can see bright paintings on the ground and walls. Chickens and rabbits are outlined on the red background, as well as blessings such as "safe travel" and "a happy marriage". Even the pandas Tuan Tuan and Yuan Yuan are painted in a playful way. The village is not big, suitable for a slow stroll. There are surprises hidden in every wall and every corner. There is no ticket here. It is suitable for people who like taking pictures and artistic atmosphere. It is nice to spend an hour or two strolling around.
It is a very small village where the Chinese soldiers used to live, its been painted by the one of the retired soldier. its cute, colorful, the painting is full of creativity and also combining the local cultures, it’s interesting to go and see

Alishan is one of Taiwan’s most popular mountain destinations, known for its stunning natural scenery, cool climate, and iconic sunrise views. The area features beautiful walking trails, ancient forests, scenic train rides, and picturesque tea farms. It’s a peaceful escape from the city and ideal for nature lovers, hikers, and anyone looking to relax in a serene environment. While transportation can take some time, the experience is rewarding and memorable.
Alishan is a breathtaking destination that truly showcases the natural beauty of Taiwan. The scenic train ride through lush forests, the iconic sunrise over the sea of clouds, and the peaceful Alishan Forest Recreation Area make for an unforgettable experience. The towering cypress trees, tea plantations, and cool mountain air add to its charm. While it can get crowded during peak seasons, the stunning views and serene atmosphere are well worth the visit. Highly recommended for nature lovers and photographers!
